"I gave up a single night on a trip for work reasons. I wanted to try local gastronomy and took a typical wiener schnitzel accompanied by a beer.Everything very nice in a warm and comfortable dining room. A good experience highly recommended."

"Der Landgasthof der Familie Riedl ist schon seit Generationen ein Garant gepflegter Gastlichkeit. Nicht nur die Einheimischen, auch immer mehr Gäste aus dem Umland, Radfahrer, Golfer und Wanderer schätzen die Küche und die Gemütlichkeit. Sehr gerne wird der Gasthof für Familien- oder Firmenfeiern genutzt. Im Sommer kann man im herrlich gelegenen und schattigen Gastgarten mit Ausblick auf Aurach sitzen.Die Küche bietet Spezialitäten aus dem Atterseegebiet, typische "Hausmannskost", angefangen vom "Bratl in der Rein" bis hin zum Backhendl oder Rinderbraten. Die Küche leitet der Besitzer Herbert Riedl, unterstützt schon vom talentierten Sohn Christoph. Jeden Donnerstag gibt es "Ripperl", auch "Spareribs" genannt. Dazu serviert man kellertrübes Bier vom Fass. Erfreulich ist, dass es jetzt eine gute Auswahl an Weinen gibt, auch das Zipfer-Bier vom Fass ist ausgezeichnet. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Trennung von Raucher- und Nichtraucherbereich nicht gewährleistet ist. Ohne Rauch schmeckt das Essen besser, hier müsste eine Lösung gefunden werden, die auch nichtrauchende Gäste zufriedenstellt - auch diese wollen wiederkommen!"
