"When in Orlando vacationing, my husband and I frequent Charley’s Steakhouse. We were just there on Nov 21st for our anniversary and it was 5 star, this time, not so much. Service was decent but not what we expect from your staff. Food and cocktails were excellent. The issue we have is when our waitress boxed up our leftovers, she placed our food on the floor! I asked to speak with the manager. We told the manager (female) about our food being placed on the floor. She then said, “we were instructed by corporate to place bag on the floor” and “we are waiting to hear back from corporate to get permission to put food on the table”! We raised our eyebrow and we found that hard to believe. We sat for awhile and observed the other waiters and waitresses, place their customers leftovers on the table. It made us think, are we experiencing discrimination?! It was not a good feeling. We paid the $300+ bill and left. For the record, when we were at your restaurant on Nov 21st, our leftovers were placed on the table!!"
