"I used to like this place but is getting worse every time I order my lunch here. First of all the portions are getting smaller and they just fill your bowl with leaves, if you want to actually feel the taste to anything else besides the greens (and the dressing) you need to add double portion of those items. If you order online, the order is never ready on time. You will have to wait min. 10-15 extra. And lastly, they don’t respect the instructions in the order, I asked for light dressing mixed into the salad, and I’ve got so heavy dressing that I couldn’t even enjoy the salad because of the strong vinegar taste plus, my salad wasn’t mixed. Not the first time happening..I’ll give it two stars for the old days when they used to be good but honestly, they should better increase the prices than sacrificing the quality .. I really struggled to eat the last time I ordered here.."

"I would give less than 1 star but it 's not possible. As someone who actually worked for the rooftop restaurant and was recently terminated wrongfully- I can finally speak my truth. The whole place is one gigantic mess. The upper management has no care at all for its employees and is quite frankly one of the worst managed places I 've ever worked for. They don 't adhere to health codes, and the owner Tom needs a harsh training in how to deal with not only his employees the whole restaurant as a whole. The food and drink menu are constantly being altered and it is WAY over priced for a pool side bar. They are trying to make it an upscale restaurant which has been one failure after another. I feel so bad for the servers/bartenders/hosts that are working there still because they get screwed over pretty much everyday. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE."

"This review only applies to the service, as we left before we could eat. After we sat down, it took a while for our server to come to our table, so when she did we order our drinks and dinner. 25 minutes went by and we still did have our drinks (a Sprite and a hot tea). With our server nowhere in sight we made the decision to cut our loses and we left. The ambience is great, but the slow service seems to be a common complaint in this restaurant. Hopefully the management will get the message and address the problem."

"This shattered my stereotype idea of a Kosher restaurant. I have only eaten at a Kosher restaurant once or twice before and did not care for the food. My wife and I went this time to Ditmas to visit with friends from out of town who observe Kosher dietary laws. Well, what a surprise. The food prep is worthy of any fine dining restaurant. Service friendly and attentive. Very creative appetizers representing a variety of cuisines. Entrees are varied and portions generous. I had a hanger steak that was as tasty and well seasoned as any I have ever had. This is a fine dining restaurant that follows Kosher preparation rules. would definitely go back."

"We had a great time. The conversation was really fabulous and we loved how close we were to the actors. Food was excellent and unusual. Service was excellent. The whole scene was 10. But a cave doesn't wear good jewelry here. I lost a bracelet that night when I pulled my coat to go. I called the restaurant and they never called me back. I called again and they were quite rude and indifferent to my situation. Was not impressed by their empathy or helpful attitude especially because there was no one."

"Shout out to the amazing staff. I used to work in the food Industry and lets just say i left for a reason. Today the amazing cashiers made my day and reminded me that food industry people are the true MVP's of the working class. I ordered my food online so i can run in and run out. When i went to pick up my lunch I noticed the whole staff was super busy (Monday in DTLA near Law Firms of course they are. When i got to the pick-up area my food wasn't there. I waited 7 minutes and still no order. I asked the cashier, and they assured me it was on its way and they were slammed , which they were. another 6 minutes goes by and i'm noticing order are coming out and not mine. I ask again since I like to eat my lunch before the Partners get back and i have no time to eat. After much searching for my order the cashier noticed my order had been bumped in the chaos and was not made. The wonderful staff rushed my order and gave me a water and two lunches on them. Thank you so much. I hate being a Karen and another 20 minutes would have made me full Karen. I've worked in food before, but great customer service like this made my day for sure and would have made any Karen calm down."

"Their salads are delicious! My friend had the hot bowl and I had the chicken pesto, they were both insanely tasty. I even put it in the fridge to finish later and it held wonderfully. The people there were helpful in making sure I got what I wanted. Oh yeah, get the rosemary focaccia bread, it's amazing!"
