"Both Brighton and Hove venues are lovely restaurants in every way. Fantastic variety of the menu and very tasty, authentic specials . The House White was a welcomed surprise and the staff are always attentive and very good at their job. My only qualm is the £2 Freedom charge. If you 're Gluten Free, be prepared to pay an extra (roughly) 20%. This isn 't a charge with which I particularly agree. Gluten Free produce is traditionally more expensive, but it doesn 't justify the disproportionate charge."

"Chose to eat here with my husband on a Saturday evening after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and we went in with high expectations. The menu sounded very interesting and the place seemed very buzzy. We were seated upstairs and our orders taken quickly, which was good. Whilst we were way for our drinks though we noticed that, as some other reviewers have mentioned, the music was very loud and we were having to shout to communicate. This ended up being quite tiring by the end of the meal! When I went to toilet downstairs, I noticed that the music was just as loud (maybe even louder) downstairs. When you have a busy restaurant anyway, loud music just make the atmosphere quite stressful! The waiters were very nice and attentive, but the food was slow to come…I had a beetroot sort of dip, which was delicious, but it was nearly an hour after we sat down before I got any of my other courses. The food, when it came, was absolutely delicious smokey, unusual flavours and reasonably priced. There was a good balance of meat, fish and vegetable options on the menu, which was good to see. If this review was solely based on the quality of the food, I’d give it 5/5. Neither of us enjoyed the wine (Riesling) and don’t end up finishing the bottle. We often order a Riesling as we enjoy it with food, but this one wasn’t pleasant at all. I understand that everyone has different tastes, but it’s the first time we have ever left any wine!! Seeing as the food was so good we would return, but only in the summer when we were not in a rush and could sit at the tables outside, away from the music!"

"Very delicious pizza. they offer many different options and even a sweet pizza as desert. the location is very central next to many different shops and they can reach it very well with public transport. the prices are fair and the atmosphere is also amazing. the waiters are nice and fast there for them."
