"Bentleigh definitely now has a café culture. Georgie Porgie is set to hold it's own amongst the rest. Sunday breakfast was busy but our orders were taken promptly. The menu shows thought, with some variations on the usual offerings. My toastie ($9.50) was filled with tasty shredded pork, cheese and halapeno chillis. My partner's serve of poached eggs on sourdough toast was ok, too. The coffee was a let-down. Mine was only just warm enough, his lukewarm. When took it back he was almost made to feel the issue was his fault. Thankfully, the latte was replace with a hotter one, with the entire bill coming to $27.20."

"Having moved to St Kilda about a year ago we walked around the area and stumbled across this cool cafe for lunch. Immediately greeted and seated with menus and asked if we wanted any coffees. Had the hotcakes and pulled pork sandwich which both came out quickly. Both dishes were delish and well presented. Coffee was great. My partner and I have gone back for the 2nd time for brekky and didn’t fail at all!"

"We arrived at the restaurant at 2:45pm, immediately seated and ordered 1 matcha pancake plus 1 green burget. The place was quite full and we have been patiently waiting the food for around 45mins. Good food worths the wait. No luck. But then later we saw some of our neighbours who arrived way later than us were starting to get food. It was still fine to us as different dishes might take different time to cook. But then another 10mins passed by, we saw that the staff were packing up and were ready to close. We grabbed one of the waitresses and asked if she could check the order for us. After a moment, she came back and said they have somehow lost our orders but then the kitchen is NOW CLOSED so she couldn't do anything for us. That's really crazy. How could they miss the order without checking upon us after sitting there for like 45mins? Even more disappointing, we overheard that they have also missed another order but they did make a new one for them. But apparently not us. I was so angry and apparently we were the only Asian customers there. I am not sure if this is due to poor service, ignorance or racism. The waitress did offer us a free drink after I made a scene but it's too late."

"I would recommend the 300g porterhouse steak, which was cooked to perfection. My friend had the rack of lamb which was also delicious. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. I also like that there is no pressure to leave which is great when catching up with friends."

"Well done ladies I had a plate of salad which I couldn't mix and matchBut anyway I had a plate of vegetables also fresh and goodSat outside with a good back to the chain all good value however a smile from the girls wouldn't go astray .
