"This restaurant serves the best dumplings I have probably have ever had. The food was to die for but unfortunately The restaurant is poorly ventilated and when we walked out, we smelled like our dinner for days after that. It may be an uber eats...situation next time! But really really enjoyed the food!"

"Vegetarian review:There are a lot of vegetarian options, they even offer to replace meat with black bean in almost all dishes.We ordered fruit crepe and blueberry pancakes which were delicious and refreshing. Custard was the Rockstar in crepes.Smoothie had pretty amazing taste and was healthy as well kale mango)Totally recommend for breakfast and brunches."

"They will happily modify most items on their menu to accommodate vegan diners and their chef will be a vegan appetizer and cure on request. the daily “special” starter was slightly modified and delicious. I had the gnocchi (modified) next time I will try the cooking creation."

"Excellent lunch today with a friend. Our server was amazing probably one of the best I've ever had! The food was super delicious and I'll be back to have those fish tacos again. This was my 3rd time to this restaurant and I highly recommend it for lunch or supper. Service and food is always consistently great."

"Food was great. We had the pizza of the day with sausage, apples and onions. Amazing. I had my 3 small children with me, the place is not really appropriate for children, it's just too small but the staff was very gracious and found them crayons and paper. The kids lives their cheese pizza also. Really reasonable prices for the quality of ingredients too."

"Very good over gluten-free and keliac. although everything we have ordered was gluten-free, they have prepared a celiac meal. it was nice that they had gluten-free items on the children's menu and all desserts are gluten-free! Taste eating, excellent service. great experience."

"Walked in.. table for 2 in the back where it's quiet and private. Beef tenderloin and pickle brined chicken were both amazing. The server was great. The drinks were great. It was our anniversary and the server brought us desert on the house. It's definitely pricier than most in halifax but the food is amazing. With the building being a historical property and very old.. the setting is very nice. Only drawback was seeing a fine fury friend scurey across the floor... but to be fair the building is a couple hundred years old."

"We were the first to arrive for Saturday brunch, and I felt like we had star treats. The restaurant itself is very unique and we sat under the glass ceiling. There were fresh flowers scattered over the room that felt like we were at a celebration. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. I had the lobster Benedict and groundless mimoses, and she was fast with the refills. She was also helpful and showed some things to see in the city. I wish we had another day in Halifax to eat here!"

"We ate at Wild Leek twice while in Halifax. What a gem! The Dragon fries are crazy good. Honestly one of the best potato dishes I’ve ever eaten. The Bahama Breeze onion rings were great too. Who knew coconut and onion play so well together? Buffalo tofu sandwich is also a good choice. The donair was decent (the one at Wooden Monkey is better), The seitan meat was nicely caramelized but the wrap contained lettuce (a big no-no as far as donair purists are concerned) and the sauce was more like mayonnaise. Really good Caesar salad. They also offer a good selection of baked goods, with 6 packs of frozen day old cupcakes available at a reduced price. We didn’t get a chance to try any of their bowls. This will definitely be the first place I eat the next time I’m in Halifax. Updated from previous review on 2022-02-03"
