"So enjoyed the cheese pie, and asked if I could add a 10% tip. The server said I could, but when I went to pay on my card, I noticed that the bill had already included the 10% tip. She had already included another 10% tip , making 20% in total. I tried to get this reversed but was told this was already being processed. I just feel that I have been cheated. Sorry if this sounds dramatic, but I hate getting ripped off !!!!"

"Food was not great- rice was cold, lamb tasted over seasoned and just overall lacked lustre. New menu is a must as even the chicken curry it was as if the meat had preheated a few times chicken was quite hard and barely tender not good at all"

"Beautiful experience at The French from start to finish. The menu is perfect, just the right amount of food and matched drinks. The food is cosy northern style and some drinks sourced locally also. The team are very professional but can have a laugh too, a truly great experience and would highly recommend!!!"

"Quiet lunch. came today for partner birthday dinner with our 2 month old. gluten-free menu very limited, but my partner had the risotto and it tasted amazing, I had the black booze and it was really delicious and seasoned perfect. cocktails on point as usual and our waitress was beautiful and friendly. if I had to give a critique, the courts might have looked a bit pretty, but I couldn't owe a taste. will definitely be back for eating and drinking!"

"I have booked here for a groundless birthday brunch and had a wonderful time! the personal was super friendly, really attentive, really impeccable service always our drinks flow and always smile. the bokony brunch dish was delicious and really good size portion. the bottomless option is £25 each separately and then everything you order food smart is above. they can choose between a few different cocktails as well as beer so definitiw options if they don't just want prosecco and they are allowed to change their drinks. will definitely go again for different meal times, as I heard that Sunday roast is really good. it is also dog friendly, there were many nice supplements to some tables all well kept"

"For an airport hotel restaurant, surprisingly good ambiance coupled with exceptionally good service. Meila (front of house) especially good. Prices average for airport and compare favourably with high street. At dinner, burger was well cooked and fries crisp. Unusual kale slaw failed to hit the mark. The BBQ ribs were a little underwhelming and could have done with a longer cook. For breakfast, one of the best cold buffets i've had at a hotel with lovely warm pastries. Unfortunately, the hot buffet was a real let down cold sausage, cool mushrooms and bacon that looked like it had seen the grill and run away topped by soggy hash browns. Will eat there again but will stick to cold buffet !"
