"My daughter and I were returning home from Toronto and stopped here to eat. The proprietor informed us she was about to close. As we turned to leave she invited us to stay if we didn't mind her preparing to close. The bagel sandwiches were amazing. Made on bagels made fresh that day. A regular stop for us now when on our way to or from Toronto. The Americano was smooth, rich and robust!!"

"No signs on where to order, where to pick up. Overhead menu on wall is AFTER you order. So you walk down to the assembly area, memorize what you want, then walk back to cashier. Then she says sorry we're out of rice. Then you've got to walk back to menu board because you didn't memorize your options. Once ordered, the assembly guy just had a bad attitude, and slung very sloppily the ingredients into the bowl. Ok. That was management. The food tasted fresh, but was so wet that water literally ran out of the lettuce onto a pool on the table and soaked the wrap. Sorry that was my true experience."

"We recently became whole food plant based in our diet. Although different needs than a Vegan, vegan restaurants are the closest to fit our needs. Nachos as appetizer - was impressed. Nachos were a "deconstructed" plate and very tasty. Would order again. For my main I had the Pad Thai and my Husband had the olive tapenade pasta. We both enjoyed our mains. Dessert we tried carrot cake and the chocolate banana mousse cake. Both were good but the carrot cake was so rich I could not finish. I suspect it was made with a lot of coconut oil which made it so rich. The banana mousse cake was not as rich but I detected banana flavouring or extract which gave it kind of an artificial taste. Was surprised that they do not serve coffee. Only tea. We did not ask why. I know that this is a specialized restaurant and the food was good. I have no complaints with anything except the price. I personally don't feel for the food we received that it was true value for the price charged. We enjoyed completely but if we have found other restaurants that truly rival this one at much lower menu price As a final statement service was great even though there was only one person serving. We did not lack for service but we felt sorry for the one server because she seemed to be running constantly."

"Had dinner here couple of days ago. Was served by Jason, excellent, explained menu proficiently, and other table, friends of ours had Warren, also very good. We tried the -- -calamari- one piece cut and fashioned in a circular manner, was chewy;-bread- 4.00 served in a paper bag with bomba, good and tasty-bruschetta, a bit too over toasted for my taste-caesar salad, took forever to arrive, nothing special in a small bowl-meatball, meh- nera pizza, made with black pizza flour ( burnt grains by slow cooking) loaded with salmon and veggies 22.00 not that great and very salty, crust watery and dripping- red beet risotto served with chips was fair, should have added more chips, which was the only good thing about it- vongole, the smallest plate of pasta I have seen, 20.00- the bowl is big but the inside is sooooo small, they should have told us so we can order other items- salmon with mushrooms and polenta, again salty- bolognese pasta, fair, minuscule portion as well- strawberry shortcake, more watery than anything, no cake and sparingly seen strawberry pieces, 3 - tiramisu, highly laced with alcohol, mascarpone hardly tasted, more of whipping cream, a definite cheap versionThe dessert chef was making the items with bare hands- without any gloves, then handling plates and then going back to his table without any hand washing. HmmmServers both above as mentioned were on top of their game, refilling the water, cleaning the tables, coming back at the right time and non-intrusive.The manager, Javier, only spoke to customers who spoke Spanish,i.e., other customers, never even approached our table, but I also speak spanish, so Javier, por favor- " yo nabla espanol, pero me cuesta entender tu acento " our friends wanted to ask him about some menu items but they were totally ignored, even though he passed our tables multiple times- so much for a manager, guess he ignored us ???This is touted as small plates, but it is more of smaller plates, and a mix of big plates with small portions to give a semblance of ??Place is a bit noisy and hard to talk. Also service from kitchen for some items took some time. What happened to the old lady manager ?"

"The Wilcox is probably my fav place to eat with friends in Sauga. Their burger, lobster poutine, and fried chicken are awesome. The weird thing is, nothing on their menu is that expensive, but the bill always ends up being really high. I guess it's easy to rack up a high bill when you're having a good time."
