"Was here a year ago and they had a dedicated fryer. Came back for that reason. Server was unsure why but the fryer is no longer dedicated. Was the only one in Tofino."

"We had a lovely meal overlooking the ocean, with outstanding service. Between the two of us, we ordered green salads, halibut, and sturgeon (wrapped with a prawn mousse) a particularly innovative presentation. They were able to accommodate my husband's need for a gluten free...(celiac) meal. Happily, almost all desserts are GF. We ordered the Sea Buckthorn chocolate dessert, which was gorgeous and scrumptious, and the rhubarb tart w/bay ice cream. All excellent!"

"Gluten-free location. Smoothies, smoothie bowls, freshly pressed juice. They do not advertise to be GF, but sell nothing that would contain gluten and answered all the questions I had. Excellent place for breakfast, next to the 100% GF Poke and Tostada location."

"Very, very tasty salads. I had the pachamama bowl with beets and faro. Just awesome. Salmon kale salad also good, and bean burgers. Even the house salad on the bean burger was good. Excellent service, great patio."

"We went to dinner back to sobo (we went two years ago. I called in advance to make a reservation and spoke to the owner/cook to see if teller could be modified for vegans. she said sure (they did the last time. the menu changes. we had this beautiful dish minus the yogurt make it vegan. it was divine! yam with charred wild rice, kale, kicherbsen and slightly spicy sauce. they even had a vegan cookie; . highly recommended."

"Lovely service, great atmosphere with lots of light and windows. Food was excellent. We enjoyed the halibut with butter chicken sauce and the Gnudi with yam and Brussels sprout sides. Everything was cooked perfectly, so fresh and satisfying."

"A great alternative if you want something vegetarian and a little lighter. Your burgers are very pleasant, the sandwiches are good. The staff is very friendly. Service is a little slow, but it is a resort. So relax patiently and you will be rewarded with a good meal."
