"Once we have penetrated the menu and ordered a few combos, we realized that we have been here before, or at least in their sister restaurant on kingsway. the bombs were a dead traitor as I had seen them in the south Burnaby store. these tasty little eggs of rice and nori are a some ocean flavor and we ended up ordering a few more of them. also as part of a combo we enjoyed their hot and crispy karaage chicken. that was not the most earthly version we had, but it is hard to go wrong when the meat is wet and the immersing sauce is tasty. at the main event I had the black garlic oil chasu ramen. this seems to be a newer addition, as I do not see it on published versions of their menu. it was rich and garlicky and for my money, a full success. I also asked that the Sous Vide version of the chashu compare with the rule. To be honest, I couldn't tell them if it's better or not. I think it has more with how it is sent on the grill, although I understand the advantages of sous vide. it was also delicious. marie had the chasu tonkatsu ramen that we were never far from the bases) with the regular chasu. both had the necessary holzohr mushrooms, egg and excellent noodles. I was happy not to make a series of decisions about noodles, but happy that they regularly or rich both offer. we chose both rich and it was! finally there was a mini mapo tofu don. another small taste of rice with the lightly spicy tofu and pork mixture above. at just $4, it added a bit variety. surprisingly, we left ourselves full and happy. this is a comfortable small place with pleasant staff. I'm sure it's going to be busty here, but we didn't have to wait on Saturday afternoon and our food was delivered quite fast."
