"We really enjoyed sitting outside in the sun on this warm fall day eating mushrooms with bacon and dumplings plus the potatobroccoli au Graten with lots of cheesy yumminess. Great food with a little tiredsad though efficient waiting staff. We would definitely go back for...more flavors"

"My extended weekend at Lake Constance in Konstanz, I had a meal before the trip home. Since at this time most restaurants do not offer a warm meal, I decided to stay in the area of the beach bath. The next snack only breeds unhealthy like Pommes, Currywurst Co. and so I ended up in the Hörnle . This restaurant is open only in the bathing season until September and from the Terasse where I took place, I had a fantastic view of the lake. The young girls are friendly and do their job no longer and no less. It looks like seasonal workers and in no case after learned forces. The menu is folded on the tables. In view of the heat, my accompaniment takes a fitness salad (11.80 euros) and I take the forest mushroom ragout with homemade semmelknödeln (10.90 euros). The terasse is almost full, some drink only, some tables stand ice cups and our food comes after a reasonable time. I saw that the dumplings were cooked some time ago on the dried shell, which was already a little darker than the inner life. The forest mushroom ragout consisted mainly of champignons that only had to sprinkle from the glass and the few pifferlings as well. The finished sauce, which already contained a lot of flavor enhancers and was too salty and spicy. It wasn't a pleasure, and I didn't eat as healthy as I thought. There will be no repetition. And not when I'm in the beach bath."

"The brunch was really poor, breakfast part was not a bit better than an average Ibis breakfast and for the Lunch part they had some tasteless salads and one dish with meat (beef) and a indian style ratatouille which was really the best thing of all. It is not expensive, but not even worth the 17.50 Euro they charge for it (including one hot beverage)."

"The Suppengrün is in the city centre of Konstanz in walking distance to the lake and the shopping centre Lago. I had lunch there and I was amazed by the many salad options they had. Approx. 70 of the options of the salad bar (self serve) were vegan. I tried them all and they all tasted great. The Italian bread salad was my favourite, the Swabian potato salad is definitely worth trying, too. They offer one slice of bread (e.g. spelt bread) and water for free which is very rare in Germany. My friend says that the soups are amazing, too, but it was a really hot day and so I went for the salad bar. I'll be back for sure to try the soups. Great for a healthy lunch! And they have meat options, too, if your colleages don't fancy vegan food. :P"

"I've been to that place now several times was never disappointed. It's a simple place with in- and outdoor seating. You order/prepay at the counter inside and can choose from a wide variety of fresh/local fish condiments. The orders will be brought to your table. The size of the dishes is very satisfying and the price/value ratio very, very reasonable."
