"This iconic Toledo hit spot is falling on hard times. We have come here many times over the years and I love bringing out of town friends for their TP introduction. Last night was very disappointing. First, the place is very shoddy. The furniture has long outlived it 's usefulness. The tablecloths are 20 years old based on the faded colors and condition. I specifically told one of my guests about the great German Potato salad. When we ordered we were told they out 'out ' of potato salad. Then the server said we 've been out of it since August! At this point, you aren 't out of it, you 've just stop making it. I ordered the limited time only fried perch. I asked for Malt Vinegar. Again, 'we are out of it. We 're out of everything. Sad to see that management has just stopped trying. Time to find a new place for visitors."

"Fast, friendly service. Had pizza, cheese balls, and a maidrite. All of it was good. They brought out a side of potato salad for one person right away, which was weird in itself, but then later bought out the rest of that order (a maidrite) and then a good 5 to 10 minutes brought the rest. Need to work on their timing a bit, but not a huge deal."

"Had the ribs, potato salad and koleslaw. what a tasty bite! rib were so tender and melted in your mouth, I had never cole Slav with radishes and broccoli-sehr, very creamy and tasty. and the potato salad compared to my mother. I didn't have a kartoffel salad so good since I was a teenager. Although I waited for almost 30 minutes for my food, because of the confusion between waitress and kitchen, can and have overlooked it because of the great quality of the food. they now have a regular customer!"

"Our first time here,Food was delicious. I had ox tails w/rice, greens, yams. My husband had baked chicken w/dressing an Mac cheese, potato salad, peach cobbler. Everything was Seasoned just right. Only critique I will give is tone back on the sugar in the yams,and cobbler, and cook ur rice a little longer,add gravy over the baked chicken over all the food was delicious and we will come back again. This is what you call soul food. We're from Detroit"

"Jubileee night. Norm (Bartender) is experienced, professional and funny! His drinks were exceptional, well-mixed cocktails with a creative flare, you could immediately say he knew what he did! Mike was our waiter, he was on the menu and the food items, helpful, friendly and very outgoing! Our meals were exceptional (we heard Mike's tips on what to order), everything was fresh and cooked for perfection! This place is a real hidden jewel for Toledo! If you want a wonderful meal and a great night with exceptional service, you must try 31 hundred! We were very pleasantly surprised, made our anniversary perfect!"
