"Being so close to our hotel and receiving lots of positive ratings we gave this place a try. Started with a deep fried cheese and ham pastry which was okay, but not something I'd have again. The pan fried aubergine and kebabs were good and there was a lot of meat on those kebabs. I'm not sure what the dessert was as the waiter just brought a selection of desserts to our table, but it was nice. There were 3 dome shaped, honey-coated concoctions (see picture). Certainly a lot of food for a reasonable price. Service was quick and because we sat outside it wasn't too noisy. Most of the servers were friendly except the first lady who seemed a little curt, not sure if that was just a language issue. One thing to note if you sit outside is that there's the biggest outdoor heater attached to the roof I've ever seen. It put out a ton of heat and I was getting a little toasty sitting under it. This seems to be the norm in Athens during the cooler months as I expect the locals are more used to super hot temperatures."
