"Awesome place..... Really taste wise it's very good. The biryani and kebabs were very good in taste. We really enjoyed the food and service. Kundan service was mind blowing.... He really takes good care of us.... He was very humble and cooperative...... I would like to recommend this place to all my colleagues and family members. Though we are regular to this place, but this time felt better due to change of management. New team were really working good and giving their efforts..... Soon we ll meet again.... Keep up the good work guys.<br/"

"Slate Café is a cute, cozy cafe located in JP Nagar. The concept behind it is that, people in our busy times tend to forget what real conversations mean, here at Slate cafe, you can have a fun conversation and also doodle with chalks, bringing out the inner child in you. They are pet friendly too. <br/ <br/ To begin with, I had a word with chef Sarvesh who is also the owner of the cafe and got to know about the menu. He has taken Indian food and merged it with Mediterranean and continental cuisine. Each dish has a unique presentation and there’s a twist. <br/ <br/ We started off with the soup, I had the mush-take soup which was warm, comforting, a tad high on the garlic flavour but delicious nevertheless. My friend tried the Mad-Ras soup and he absolutely loved it, it had lots of chicken pieces and had a spicy kick to it.<br/ <br/ Moving on to the appetisers I tried the Pune masala pav which arrives very differently to what you’d expect. Not pav buns with a side of gravy here, folks. It had pav bun bites soaked in the bhaji, unique and scrumptious. The shakshuka that I tired here was delicious too. It wasn’t like the usual chunky traditional shakshuka but had a creamy egg based gravy topped with the fried eggs of course. <br/ <br/ The drinks could have been better for sure. The brownie shake didn’t have the necessary chocolate flavour and the Brownie pieces on top were a bit dry. The strawberry mojito as well needed more strawberry flavour in it. The cold coffee was good though. <br/ <br/ The pizza too was a little average, I would expect more flavour in it and the veg kheema gravy instead of pizza sauce didn’t make sense to me. <br/ <br/ The three cheese ravioli was good. It had cottage cheese or paneer, processed cheese and cheddar cheese in it. Would have been better with some Parmesan instead of processed cheese but the pasta was well made and cooked properly, <br/ <br/ In non veg my friend highly recommended the “Holy Mother of God” which consisted of chicken simmered in a bhoot jalokia or ghost chilli sauce, wasn’t too spicy and tasted really good according to him. <br/ <br/ The peri peri chicken and chapli kebab were decent."
