"Their puri cholay buffet is great. Poori authentic. Chickpeas are really tasty. Buffet also carry qeema (ground beef) and paaya. Tea is complimented. Overall, for $10, it's really worth it."

"This location was good 4 years ago when they first opened. But now it’s hit and miss at best. I ordered a Santorini salad and it was 90% chick peas. Very little tomatoes, and anything else. Protein always dry. I don’t recommend this location."

"Had to come to Calgary for a Seminar and brought the family with me. My wife is a big fan of Shawarma and she had the Chicken Shawarma plate from here. Without a doubt, it is the best Shawarma she has ever had. Great job."

"Whilst on vacation in Calgary, we found this small restaurant purely by chance and went in to get a take out menu. The fabulous smell of the curry was enough to make us try it and thank goodness we did. We chose a lamb curry and a chicken curry with rice and a nan bread. The portions were huge for the two of us, the taste was fantastic. Value for money was superb. Needless to say we went back again, this time taking only one curry with some samosas, rice and nan. Once again the taste was superb. We LOVE Indian food and rarely find the chance to have some when on vacation in North America. Thank you Spice Hut for a real treat..... Just hope lots of people come here. You and your food deserve it!!!!"

"We went to the restaurant after hearing rave reviews about their Chana Bhatura and checking the website to make sure it was on the menu.Got seated quickly and the restaurant was moderately crowded.When we ordered Channa Bhatura, her response was that some items are only served in the morning even though the menu made no mention of it. She did not even try to check if the kitchen would make them as we had just traveled half hour for this.Only one word comes to mind.....DISAPPOINTING!!!You're better off trying Royal Paan in the North East if you want good Indian food"

"Another Chinese restaurant in the city. we should try another Chinese restaurant, but they said they had a function and can not take the 2 of us, even if the whole place is empty when we are there and there was no sign. that they are only for a function today eccentric, so we just go to Chinatown to check other places, then we found great taste chinese restaurant. some restaurants around the opposite seem empty, but great taste seem to have some customers, so we went into. I like their appetizers, they taste good, but main course is just okay. we ordered the five seasoned beef (cold) and the steamed crab and vertebral dumplings for appetizers. it was also my first time to taste a taste of a soup emptying and I enjoyed it. to now the best noodles I tried. for the main we ordered kung pao huhn and huh fried rice. I also asked about hot water and lemon, and I didn't know they'd charge you for it, just when you paid for it. Oh, I guess some restaurants really invite for water. Maybe next time I try more of her appetizers than the main thing."
