"We were loyal customers of the restaurant. We always stopped to eat here when we came to Istanbul. this year the experience was terrible. we ordered one kind of food, we were served something else and when we drew the attention of the waiter, he told us to eat what he gave us. the prices are excessively high and the quality of the food has deteriorated from one year to the next"

"Delicious food really well served in a great terrace with music and nice atmosphere. We were going to another place and the waiter convinced us to enter saying that if we don’t like the food we wouldn’t have to pay! We saw 3,5 in google but decided to run the risk bc they explained they still suffer the critics given to previous staff/owners. We didn’t regret it! They offered the starters and dessert for free, portions were big and well presented, staff was super hiper friendly and all was great! They REALLY DESERVE 5 STARS!!!"

"At last got to taste the the all favorite Hummus ,exactly as i wanted it to be.<br/ Dishes are well done and presented.. Mine was a repeat order for most of the dishes.<br/ Very crowded it seems ,but wait is well worth it.<br/ <br/ One may find it amusing that the owner who happens to be celebrity chef has created an ambiance wherein the entire place has been taken over by the pictures of chef himself. You will be amazed to find the chef playing his own videos on the in house TV also."

"I went out there with a friend, we ordered 2 platters, the first the ottoman kebab was amazing, full flavour, the second was Testi chicken kebab, it was good, tho it wasn 't seasoned enough. The place is nice and simple in an old street. However the prices on the menu are without taxes and we didn 't know that until the check was given."

"Loved it so much we came back for more! Veysel is brilliant and very funny, he had a warm welcome which instantly made us smile and enjoy every second we spent in this restaurant. The clay pots were delicious! Not to mention the show that comes with it Also served the best hummus I’ve ever had. It’s all fantastic!!"

"We stumbled upon to this amazing restaurant by chance and surprisingly had a delicious experience. Our server was very friendly and recommended us one the traditional dish Tavuk Testi Kebabi. It turned out to be quite interesting and tasty dish. The whole experience made us comfortable enough to stay for few hours enjoying Sheeha, hot beverage and food. <br/ <br/ I highly recommend Serbethane if you are in old Istanbul."
