"We were staying in the same street and decided to give this place a try for lunch. There were four people in our group, all vegetarian. We love to cook and it takes a lot to blow our socks off but this place was brilliant....We ordered two mixed vegetarian starters. Really great tasting freshly made dishes. We liked the meal so much we came back the next day to pick up a falafal sandwich which tasted just us good. We tried a few places in Dusseldorf but this was our favourite. Recommended."

"We go here regularly because we just eat well. However, in the upper restaurant days, not at the bottom of the "sip" part.Besides there is a wide selection of Turkish people who do not exist below. the price is also higher (but still very moderate!).So you pay top for the restaurant atmosphere if you want.The service is friendly and the eating qualitatiw high quality and quite traditionally Turkish. times the portions are larger, sometimes smaller, but so far it has always been a little too much for me. we have already tried out some Turkish restaurants in whole düsseldorf (mostly far higher priced) and have always come back to hünkar. I recommend to everyone the dish "hünkar begendi", consisting of delicate grilled lamb pieces in auberginenpüree . in front of the actual court there is of course also always a small brot and dip appetizer from the house and at the end a small black tee."

"A restaurant where you feel like home. All negative statements cannot be understood. Should something not be as desired you should say this here always find a solution. Where people can work mistakes. The one piece of meat sometimes isn't like to have it shouldn't be a reason to write bad reviews. This can happen all times and at complaints replacement is immediately provided to make the guest happy. We have so far met a very nice team and are very impressed by the family atmosphere. If you prefer to have another wine you don't like a problem at the next visit, this is included in the assortment so we are. The operator of the restaurant goes very much on request, so I cannot understand some statement. Especially to mention are also the beautiful live music events that take place on weekends. "My friends and I stumbled into the restaurant at 5am, slightly frozen and in desperate need for a proper meal. We were traveling by flix bus and had to wait for the next one to come. Entering saray restaurant was the best thing we could...have done: the food tasted great, the portions were big, the price was reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly. They even offered us some tea : Maybe to help defrost our fingers :p I definitely recommend this restaurant. Especially if you're traveling and could use a friendly face and a great meal."
