"I've always enjoyed ordering from Turks. However, the price is getting higher and I wish it didn't go higher as the serving is still the same! Their kebab is pretty tasty and the sauce is good."

"Millie's could get you started with "Mabuhay" but surely it could make your belly scream out "Ciao"!

Millie's All-Day Dining not only knows Filipino and Spanish cuisine but it has some of the best Italian dishes you could sink your fork into.

Start off with tapas of Gambas (prawns sautéed in garlic and chorizo served with toasts). You would need more bread to soak up that ravishing sauce with the smokiness of paprika and chorizo.

Chef Gino also made some Boquerones, fresh anchovies (pickled like ceviche and not those salty ones) soaked in fruity olive oil and olives. Not in the menu but worth checking if it's available.

The Tuna Carpaccio, thin slices of fresh tuna, is also worth trying.

In the mood for pasta? Get the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Seafood Marinara.

For the carnivores, have the Baby Back Ribs (so tender and fall-off the bone), Lamb Chops and the Chicken Parmigiana.

If you want something you don't get much, order the Gnocchi in Bleu Cheese Sauce. The gnocchi (potato dumplings), light and fluffy, were just divine immersed in the cheesy au gratin sauce. This alone is worth going back to Millie's.

Of course you'd better get some "dolce" of Tiramisu and THE Panna Cotta.

Surely, Millie's makes me have a "La Dolce Vita".

boodlebear.wordpress.com"

"Mister Kabab is consistent on my list as the go-to Persian cuisine due to its consistency in food and affordable prices. Back in college, we trooped to its 1st store on West Avenue in Quezon City to have our kabab and buttered rice fix. It has now grown into several branches around the metro with the latest one in MOA Complex. We started off with their Appetizer Platter (which has an on-going 50-percent discount) consisting of spinach with egg, eggplant with egg, zucchini with yoghurt and olivieh, which was all good with the pita chips. For mains, we had the Mixed Special Choice, grilled ground beef and choice of chicken kabab with a side of grilled potatoes and steamed rice topped with a dollop of butter. The onion sauce and the chilli sauce as condiments complimented the dish..though I found the onion sauce a bit too sweetish but it was still okay. Still the comfort food whenever Im craving for Persian cuisine. Service was efficient, the branch is bright, clean... read more"

"Quite expensive than their usual Shawarma, but I think that's the nearest, the authentic. Not really safe in terms of taste, but a friend, once told me once that real Shawarmas like Burritos should look like. It tastes good and very satisfied, I find it hard in the stomach. I recommend you to try the beef or maybe the kebab. I think it's missing with the chicken. Incidentally, I tried the combination. Please take up with the sauce especially! Her sauce are very watery and it was messy dripping in my phone and pants."

"The food was great. I would have enjoyed it if half the time i didn't have to ward off flies. The crew were nice but had to pay more attention to customers with this issue."

"We only tried the Sampler Plate of 4 (395php) and picked Hummus, Falafel, Labneh, and Kofta, from the list of Appetizers and Little Plates. I loved the kofta, the falafel was bit dry, I choked a little. Still, perfect with tea. ????

travelspeed.net"
