"Had my first visit, taste a little bland. The meat content in the curries was good, but lacked the usual punch that I would expect from an Indian. A little more garlic, ginger and chillie would have given the dishes the kick that it needed. Service good though"

"Nice place for a good quality healthy kebab. bit pricey for kebab and chips but can’t put price on quality . good service . tried today for first time after recommendation from a friend . kebab was quality meat and cooked perfectly. chips slightly crunchy but not over done just prefer mine slightly softer. overall highly recommend for a treat as slightly expensive for £9.80 for large kebab and chips otherwise would have given a 5 star"

"Easily one of the worst Indians I’ve eaten. the food did have flavour but unfortunately not the right flavour, staff on duty seemed a bit strange, when we arrived we asked for a table for three people as there was only two of us at the time and one arriving shortly after three minutes of being seated we was asked if we could move table as they needed the space, we ordered drinks that never arrived so on this experience I would not recommend."

"Although there were fewer people throughout the restaurant, the service was the worst thing I experienced in a very long time and that something I will share publicly. After having lived and worked for several years in the Turkish region, my expectation was that I would experience Turkish hospitality, unfortunately I was very wrong. first, I was surprised that such a place on a Friday night should be so empty, I was quick to understand why! the waiters and employees were all rude with the poorest level of the customer service I have experienced for a very long time. asking from waitress to our drinks, my wife asked for a medium glass wee at which point the waitress said that this was not available because it was not on the system, my wife then ordered a small glass instead, at the next Tom win we were charged for a medium glass. Although we were asked and asked very clearly when selecting two separate starters, we were still supplied with only one. when we awaken the concern that we have a wrong starter, the waitress was rude again. the main course came, but was nothing special for the price and we were then left, no one came back and asked if the meal was good if we needed more drinks. now the great challenge after our main course and again, although it is only less than human in mangal, we were left with me for over minutes to demand desserts menu. when we come to pay, our bill did not reflect a medium glass wee that we had previously advised. as a family of and have eaten a lot about the summer, I must admit that even if it is at low cost locations, we have always experienced qualitatiw high quality customer service from all employees, sadly, I will not recommend to visit them as a location."

"Delicious, inexpensive local curry in Emmer Green. My Veggie Dhansak was good, could have had more bangy veg, but generous portion and spiced. Chicken Tikka Masala looked like a Beetroot curry, but that and the Pathia seemed good to go. £54 for 3 including Pappadome / Pickles, Main/rice/sides drinks. Friendly staff, quick service and a pleasant room to enjoy a family Curry on a Friday night."

"We were heartily welcomed at Burghfield Spices last Saturday despite arriving at 10 pm. We were impressed with the food quality of our curries, so different from the 'mulch ' of the average curry. The ingredients were fresh and our meals were appetising and nicely served."
