"We visited this cafe restaurant around lunchtime, but as we had risen late did not wish to eat. The food did look very appealing and well presented. It was difficult to find somewhere to get a drink only. The owner was most willing to enable us to have a coffee only and I'm glad we stopped. It was the best cafe creme we had ever tasted and on our next visit to Saumur will be sure to return, will partake of food next time."

"Great food and service on a weekday sitting outside this ancient building was had in August 2015. However, we have been back twice on weekdays, in Sept 2016 and June 2017 and both times this place has been closed so you need to check before deciding on this locale. Can be thoroughly recommended if open though !!!"

"Les parts sont généreuses mais le goût n'est pas terrible.Manque de sauce, frites trop salées, oignons blancs coupés en gros morceaux et non cuits (ça met du goût c'est sûr mais des oignons rouges seraient plus doux). Nous avons attendus 45 minutes mais il y avait beaucoup de commande.Les professionnels restent néanmoins sympathiques et souriants malgré la pression de certains client ce soir là."
