"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The most singularly God awful dining experience I have ever had anywhere in the world. We arrived at our reservation time only to find that making a reservation means nothing whatsoever at this ‘establishment;’ you are merely told to queue with all and sundry anyway. When I challenged the greeter, she checked with her boss who told her “they always complain. Just f**king ignore them.” The place is massively over themed with questionable choices including placing a kitchen roll at each table in lieu of napkins. My clam chowder starter was excessively salty and my dining partners’ garlic bread lacked garlic and tasted of powdered cheese for some reason best known to the cook. My Mother’s scampi wasn’t scampi anyone familiar with the British staple would identify as such. My fiancé’s jambalaya was nice enough until it congealed on the plate as it cooled. My Father’s salmon was over cooked and dry and his French fries absolutely tasteless. The prawns from my surf and turf were so over cooked they had the consistency of tyre rubber and yet my steak was ordered medium (and came with a medium flag yet was somewhere between blue and rare and totally tasteless from a lack of seasoning or tenderising. My boiled broccoli was again so over cooked it was hard and tasteless and the rice was just strange in its consistency, appearing to have been made with sushi rice. We did offer honest feedback when asked by the waiter who appeared to misunderstand that we were unhappy and just said “Thank you” and walked off. The fact we were sending back plates that had barely been touched didn’t seem to register an issue either any more than it deterred the inevitable insistence on a 20% gratuity. Unclear what we should be grateful for (other than to get the hell out of there! , we did not tip."
