"Not sure why all the unhappy reviewers... It's a burger joint. Been to a few 5 Guys restaurants and they've all been pretty standard. Free salted peanuts while you wait. The burgers are tasty, lots of options for toppings and the French fries are fresh cut, fresh made and absolutely delicious. For a burger chain, they do what they do fresh, made to order and they do it well. My go-to for a burger."

"Though the burgers were fine, I think they were a bit overpriced. I don't care for ketchup on my fries so requested Frank's Hot Sauce instead, as I usually do. The meal was half over by the time it arrived, which I certainly would not...have complained about. What annoyed me was the .50 charge! I have never had that before, and if I had been told, I wouldn't have bothered."

"I've been visiting this restaurant for many years. The crispy chicken has always drawn me in. This establishment has changed names over the years. They get busy, though the wait is usually worthwhile.Our family would pick up the cold chicken occasionally, it was good for having guests over. We didn't necessarily know when, we'd eat. Our own sides kept that flexible.Recently, I decided to try the fish here. A part of me was feeling sceptical, I had been looking forward to the chicken. I didn't know what to expect, was the fish going to get soggy? I was taking it to go.I got to home shortly, and gave it a try. I encountered a sense of deja vu as I tried to eat more slowly. I remembered this fish. I wasn't sure until I began eating the coleslaw.Yes, that night before the movies. Idk how I could of missed it, I'm confident this is the fish and chips I enjoyed at Austin Fish and Chips Pitt Meadows.I would describe the fries as typical fish and chips style fries. Good with salt and vinegar perhaps. Fries aren't my focus, preferring to have them with ketchup, mayo, or gravy.I had a couple of pieces of cod, chips, and coleslaw. The fish was moist and flaky. The batter crisp without being greasy, Imo. The coleslaw is one of the best ones I've had so far.I'm happy I tried the fish here, it's closer than going to Pitt Meadows. I find the staff courteous, and the quality consistent with the previous owners."
