"Fish batter was a nice crispy texture, enjoyed the fries. Oysters, Shrimp, and scallops are not worth putting on the menu. And the tartar sauce could be used to strip paint."

"Have been here a couple of times for the Friday night concerts put on by Beacon Ridge Productions but this is the first time I've eaten here. This is such a great venue for a concert. It seats maybe 200 people, you can buy advance tickets for $20, have a couple of glasses of wine [$6.50 each] and have a nice evening out for $40. [I usually walk down and take the bus home so the bus driver is my DD] This time I came with a friend and we decided to go early and have dinner. We both had the BBQ cheeseburger with fries, ketchup served on the side,[$13.95] and judging by the fact there was barely a morsel left, I think we enjoyed our meals! The food is pub grub and while not the greatest burger I've ever had in my life, it was certainly good. And piping hot! The service is very good; line up to order your drinks and food, and you're given a number to put on the table so the runner can deliver your meals. The bar is open during the concert and food is available until the intermission.The doors open at 6, concerts start at 7:30. I advise going early! Give it a whirl! Some really great concerts for not much money and decent food available also. What's not to like?"

"Burgers are simple and tasty. we had ridden who were beautiful and crispy, poutine, which was described as a delicious and a full-day breakfast sandwich that I would have every time there, it was so good. a few local beers and a good selection so and milkshakes."

"We googled fish and chips restaurants in Victoria BC and this one came up. It had 4 stars as the rating, so we thought we would give it a try on Fathers Day. My husband and son and I walked in only to find a...small dingy place. No one was there to serve us and it seemed predominately Chinese Food (which we love but were looking for fish and chips). When a restaurant is called Old Vic English Fish and Chips, we expected a more traditional experience. Wont be going there again."

"We stopped by for dessert and coffee after our dinner elsewhere. The dessert selection was good - we shared the key lime cheesecake and chocolate brownie cheesecake and everyone had coffee. The food and service was very good. Will try dinner here next time."

"Best view in the Victoria area. Beautiful Cordova Bay beach where you can take a stroll after a meal, or before. Excellent service and a nice range of alcoholic beverages, including local. The menu is ordinary fish and chips, pizza, a few salads and seafood entries. Generally, the food is done nicely. Also, quick service getting the meal, even when they were kind of busy on a Sunday night. Pizzas were good, and a generous size. The size of seafood can be disappointing. I had the nicois salad and was disappointed the scallops were cold, unseasoned and small. Perhaps they were local ones that are small, but I would've liked a few more in that case. I found the same with the seafood Ramen."

"This DQ never disappoints. I was heading in for a few treats for the family and saw a huge line, but the line moved super fast and I was out of there with delicious ice cream and on my way. The staff were super friendly and professional and they were very efficient in getting everyone their orders. The best part was the survey on my receipt to get a free dilly bar on my next visit. Now I have a good excuse to go back!"

"This spot needs to give their head a shake. What on earth are you trying to serve here?? Food was very questionable. Tried for the first time after hearing it was pretty good. Definitely a mistake. Went the safe route and ordered a Chicken burger. Dry sad amount (3 slices) of sliced chicken- smothered in cheese and odd kind of salasa. One base overly rich flavour. Beef burger is passable but would not order it again. Both come with very obvious low bar Sysco fries. Tuna poke appy was good compared to the rest of it. Did not feel well after dining here. Will not be returning. What has happen here? Why is anyone recommending this place??!"
