"Good classic pizza. I 've only ordered pizza from Guido 's twice for delivery but it 's been excellent both times. I enjoy the gourmet pizzas from the various 'tooth ' restaurants but Guido 's has that classic east coast pie you want when you just want a good slice. I 've heard complaints about service but those were all a couple years old so I imagine those employees either left or got fired because everyone 's been pretty pleasant so far. I went for the Guido 's special both times and while being expensive it was delicious. Although, spending nearly 25 bucks for a large is a little more than I 'd like but they don 't disappoint. If you pick your ingredients it 's a lot cheaper but the special is just plain good. I do want to try their other items eventually, despite some bad reviews on employees I 've never heard anything bad about the food so I 'm looking forward to exploring the menu."

"On our last night in Anchorage, we wanted to try local seafood, and Simon Seafort came recommended. The black cod in maple-bourbon and miso was outstanding. The glaze was just enough to provide flavor without overwhelming the cod, which tasted incredibly fresh. My wife had the wild sockeye, and she was ecstatic. Perfectly grilled to bring out the flavor without being overcooked. The spinach salad was very good, especially the egg-mustard dressing, which again was enough to lend flavor without drowning the fresh spinach. If you're in Anchorage and looking for excellent seafood (and a beautiful view of Cook Inlet), cannot recommend Simon Seafort enough."

"Listed as an Italian restaurant, but has an English Pub/Bar feel to it. Most of the patrons are possibly from the hotel so it's really busy during peak summer season. Come early for dinner because seats fill up fast. There are some nice beers on tap.Ordered the grilled ribeye, which was done medium-rare perfectly. It was juicy, great tasting with a slight char, and had theright balance of fats to give it that umami. Only fault I could find was it was a tad salty, but not over-whelmingly so. Thesides of broccoli and truffle mushroom risotto was done nicely too. Couldn't resist dessert and had a mud pie. Enjoyed that aswell. Overall a great place to have a nice meal and drinks, prices are reasonable. Service is prompt."
