"They have such a big variety it was hard to choose. I took a sundae with two flavours. It was topped with chocolate sauce and I could choose 4 toppings such as nuts and seeds. They had nice flavours and I could try a lot before I chose. It is a bit expensive."

"I try to get to Masala at least a couple times each year when I'm here and, year after year, time after time, the food has always been consistently top notch. Julio is a great chef and his staff is friendly and courteous. The wine list is good, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed and they frequently have some nice live dinner music. I had the filet mignon last time I was there and it was very good. They have a varied menu that features some very nice seafood dishes and salads as well. I also hosted nine of my friends here at my birthday party in February and they did an excellent job of handling the larger gathering. Highly recommended. Put this restaurant on your "must do" list for La Cruz."

"You'll have to pay attention, but if you're coming into La Cruz from the Highway 200, right before the Oxxo on the right, you can hang right and and be on the lateral and you will see this nice little pastry and bakery. Cakes and cupcakes, pies and miscellaneous sweets are featured. Chocolate cake (and cupcakes) were delicious and the Key Lime Pie was an eye opener. The owner (whose name I have forgotten) is generally present and she is extremely helpful and accommodating (allowing tastes as available). Definitely check it out!"
