"The food was good and the service was fine, but I had a bad experience there when I ordered two plates of biriyane for dine-in and discovered a large piece of polythene in one of them. I complained, but the staff probably saw my complaint as unimportant because it was minor; however, if I had taken my complaint seriously, it could have had serious consequences for the restaurant's license. but I didn't have time for if, so be careful in the restaurant. however, I will not be returning to eat there."

"I’ve ordered from here several times. The food is always delicious. I was running late for work on Sunday night and called to place an order. The phone just rang so I assumed they were closed. Then a man named Perry called back and I placed a last minute order, mind you it was Easter Sunday night at 8:30pm. They close at 9. Perry happily greeted me and had my order hot, delicious and ready to go. Great customer service and great food. As always, I’m one happy customer"

"Jyoti is a terrific neighborhood place to grab a quick, bite in or a fast meal to go. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced for the quality you receive. And their rice is to die for! We got enough to feed four adults, two (very small) children, with enough for a lunch the next day for $34. Can't beat that! Inside the restaurant is small but nice. The staff is super nice and helpful. It's probably not a place you would go to eat in most of the time. But if you're flying solo, or just want to grab some food with a friend, they do have three tables and a small bar to eat at. Probably only 10 seats total."

"We just went to Veda for restaurant week and loved the menu. Everything we had was delicious and we opted to go for the paired wine selections as well. Every item on the menu seemed to be carefully selected! Our waitress Laura was a gem and helped a first time eater of Indian food select her order. Everything that Laura recommended was delicious and really catered to the personâs taste buds. Canât wait to come visit again!"

"We are visiting Philly for a few days, and so far, didn't have a good luck with restaurants. We just finished eating at Minar palace and we all had a great time. We took the buffet and it was fresh, had good variety, and even my vegetarian teenager was happy. Service was very good and the price was excellent. You must try it."
