"First time here after reading positive reviews. Will never go back. Asked for soft poached eggs: they arrived completely hard. Cold toast. Tasteless coffee. Passable home fries. Ignored by the wait staff. I went to pay at the counter (after tired of waiting at table for the bill) and described my meal. The bored waiter replies "didn't I go back to check on your meal?" "No you didn't", I replied. "Oh", was all he said. That was the extent of a response, no "sorry", no nothing, telling me that no one here gives a hoot about customer service or satisfaction."

"Nothing around beats Egg Harbor Glenview's food and service. Food always comes out warm, tasty, correct and timely!! They don't make errors and IF they do, it is always corrected immediately. They have the best flavored coffee as well. We sometimes tryother breakfast joints, but nothing ever compares to Egg Harbor. Its the only breakfast place we crave. We've been going for 5years and have tried and loved just about everything on the menu!! Recommend this place to everyone."

"Its... Okay. Food was kinda bland. I got shash-something, Eggs in chunky tomato sauce, my date had the benedict. The tomato was not robusto, but it was cooked well. Not mushy. But it just tasted like, well, tomato. The three eggs were tiny, so if i had broken them in the dish, they wouldve been lost. Also, one english muffin was not enough. The benedict was lackluster. Sauce was plain, bland, and not lemony at all. Potato was like frozen then deep fried tater chunks. Totally lacking in any seasoning. It was not worth taking home until my date suggested we could season it, and combine the two, which worked well. If you go here, bring garlic, season salt, cayenne, something."

"This was my first time at this point and it was such a wonderful experience. I'm always hesitant to go to restaurants because I travel with a service dog and more often than I have to worry about the staff that tries to distract them or talk to them home or with them and ignore me... etc. The staff in this institution has done a wonderful job. They acknowledged that she accompanied me by talking to me (not with her). The host, Zach, who sat us, said he wanted to lay us down somewhere where we will feel like we are not disturbed (not so we are out of the other way). My server, Claire, was wonderful. She talked to me all the time. After she had already taken my order, I got my coffee, and after I had been served my food....(i.e. after she had taken care of me) she then asked what my service dog's name was, culminating briefly with her, but then she ignored her the rest of the time. So you should behave around Service Dog teams. Thanks Claire and thank you to Zach for such a wonderful experience. We're coming back! Kristin K9 O."
