"Excellent beer and menu options; there's something for everyone! Casual, sporty, atmosphere while still having quality food. Staff is on the younger side, but almost always friendly. Can get a bit loud, and slower service at peak times, as with any popular restaurant. Have heard that the Northgate Mall parking lot has trouble with car break ins, but never experienced it myself."

"I'm fairly disappointed because I used to love this place but haven't been back in a couple of years until today. Their food used to be amazing, but both my friend and I were highly disappointed with our meals. The avocado toast was on a piece of soggy, regular bread, and the biscuits and gravy had 2 tiny sad sort of biscuits. If you're just going for the beer, you'll probably be fine. But compared to their previous quality, they have gone very downhill."

"Really great little bar, our bartender was great and the drinks were good! The only bummer was we paid 22 for 1 cocktail and 1 beer, which also felt very steep for saddle and compared to some other places we went to, but otherwise it was a beautiful place."

"Brunch time at Portage Bay was terrific, friendly staff, fabulous food (the fruit and breakfast bar especially) and just a great all around location. Definitely coming back the next time we're in Seattle!"

"I liked this place. I only went because all the reviews said it was awful. What you get here is _good_ american drive in food. It was kind of funny to find it Uwajimaya, But the burger here would rival the burger from any drive-in in a small town where the drive-in was the pride of the town. Lots of lettuce, good sauce, a typical flat patty burger. The fires were crispy and freshly fried up, cooled just enough so I would not burn my mouth. Herfy's Burger is what it is, an American food place in a mall of mostly Asian places, and it is every bit as quaint and culturally idiosyncratic as the other places to eat in that mall. Two thumbs up."

"We drove two hours for my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We had hoped to sit outdoors and watch the freighters go by. The outdoor patio was closed and that was sad since it was such a lovely day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our server, Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best thing about our dining experience. We won't be going back since the food was just fair and a disappointment. There were several choices but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were chewy, the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband did like the waffles, roast beef, ham and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't that great but we wanted to dine outdoors so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."
