"We verblijven in het Domicil hotel in de tuinkamer aan de binnenhof en naast onze kamer ligt een Eritrees restaurant. Dat is wel erg uitnodigend, dus schuiven we daar op een mooie zomeravond aan op het terras. Alle medewerkers van het restaurant lijken van Afrikaanse afkomst. We eten vegetarisch. Vooraf een bietensalade en pompoensoep. De gerechten worden opgediend met aandacht voor de presentatie. Als hoofdgerecht een keur van diverse warme en koude groentengerechten met zeer wisselende smaaksensaties (zuur, zoet, pittig, gekruid) geserveerd in een soort rieten Tajin op dunne flensjes. Heel smakelijk. Het gaat er gemoedelijk aan toe en omdat we een tafel van 8 personen voor ons hebben, duurt het even voor het eten op tafel staat. Maar ach, misschien is dat een typisch westerse opmerking. Beetje Afrika kan geen kwaad, we waren er ook om te relaxen. Sympathiek restaurant."

"Here they find jumpbock, antelope or zebra steaks as well as exotic supplements and tables. Now, it depends a bit on how to get around in the world what you feel as new and exotic. also visually, inviting through and through Africa beautiful decorations and services in traditional African outfits complete the experience. in frame similar kitchens at similar level, e.g. as good steak houses."

"20. October 2017 was the 30-year-old restaurant anniversary. Great, delicious food (also burgers from the bouquet, camel and rhino on the last I am not quite sure). I still like to remember this great evening with my friends!"

"If you are looking for a place to sit around, eat something and drink beer, here is a good place. Food is OK, but not four-star great. It is not that much African food, because it is changed to match the European taste. Nothing goes...wrong if you eat here. Service is good, staff are nice and friendly, prices are fine. If you have a big party or you want to invite people for a friendly/half-formal dinner, it is a great place."
