"The flavors were fine, but the presentation was lacking. The bibimbap was cold and the gimbap could have been rolled tighter as it nearly fell apart when we picked up the skinny slices of the roll. We decided to try another place next time."

"We were to shop in the carsch house and have eaten there maruyasu at lunchtime, the selection of sushi was good and fresh, the prices were in the frame. the service was nice and competent. only the tables were a little sticky. but after a call was wiped. especially the california rolls were very delicious. sure there are many better sushi houses but for the small sushi hunger between a good alternative."

"I tried a set of Tempura and Sashimi with a portion of Sake on a counter table. Tempura-s were freshly fried by a Japanese professional right in front of my eyes. Hot, crispy and heavenly. different sashimi fishes were also beautifully decorated like rose...flowers.But more importantly the slices were proper, fresh and not like what I normally get any other places in Europe. In addition, the sake I was recommended by this young Düsseldorf-born gentleman behind the disk (he is such an excellent customer caretaker) was the best one I´ve ever tasted. I truly enjoyed my dinner here at Maruyasu. Hope to be back again."

"As a starter I had dumplings with glass noodles and as the main dish udon noodles (soup). And it was delicious. They usually make it with meat but in the menu it says ‘vegan version possible’ or something like this and i went for it big portion with a lot of udon!! So so good. "Great, varied, creative eating at very high level. I can recommend the restaurant absolutely. I especially liked the tables being sufficiently far from each other, so that there is a private sphere. the service was Rhenish friendly, helpful in asking and well matched. so that no waiting times have occurred. the food came remarkably for both of us at the same time. only unfortunately no open rose champagne (or small bottle) available."
