"Not got a bad word to say about this place. Simplicity wins out and they do the easy things exceptionally well. Airy basement restaurant with classic Japanese influences of bench seating and tables. Minimalist look as well, with a changing display of art. All the favourites are available Nasi Goreng, Tempura vegetables and Pad Thai; although the Ramens are probably the best I've ever had. Casual dining experience. Take-away service too (good for tasty desk-bound lunch Less than each. Children's menus. Many vegetarian options, vegan too. Set menus."

"I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. 3 feels hard, but I don't think it deserves 4. pollen could do the best sourdough in the land. Maybe the world. it's excellent, they are such a good bakery. the location at the marina is also beautiful. the coffee is good. but this is happy kuh, so I think that the evaluation must be concentrated on vegan options. the brot is naturally vegan, but I think their vegan options are missing. it is a small menu to be fair, but it is a vegan breakfast item and a vegan lunch. I'm not a fungus or Kimchi fan, so that I don't touch either. they used to make another tofu sandwich that was exceptionally nice, so I trust what they do is good. they did vegan croissants for veganuary who were brilliant. but I've never seen her since. the workers have said they are often asked, but no they do not. they will almost always have a vegan cake option, but not loaded. for me the vibe feels like they will do vegan options because they have somehow in the position, but it does not seem to be any passion or drive to many vegan options or creative. it is a scandal in the face of the good aspirations, but that is their choice on priorities. I would recommend it for a coffee and pick up brot, but I don't bother to look for something else."

"Always have been a shoryu fan. Could have been exemplary but this branch is not very tidy. The floor is sticky. Also, I didn’t like that one of the staff tried to get the bowls even of we’re still eating."

"Koreana Restaurant in Manchester offers a mixed experience, blending affordability with culinary inconsistencies. While their lunchtime business deal presents an attractive offer, certain aspects of the dining experience leave much to be desired. One of the highlights of Koreana Restaurant is their lunchtime business deal, which provides good value for money. The option to choose either a main dish with a drink or a starter is a convenient choice for those looking for a quick and affordable meal during the workday. However, despite the enticing deal, the execution of certain dishes falls short. In particular, the dolsot bibimbap, a staple of Korean cuisine, missed the mark in terms of taste and authenticity. It's surprising to encounter such a misstep, as dolsot bibimbap is typically a fail-safe dish. The lackluster flavors and improper preparation detracted from the overall dining experience. Another issue worth noting is the inadequacy in service. There seemed to be a shortage of staff available to attend to diners, resulting in longer wait times and less attentive service. Additionally, the dim lighting within the restaurant, exacerbated by its basement location, created a somewhat gloomy atmosphere that detracted from the overall dining ambiance. Despite these shortcomings, Koreana Restaurant does show promise, particularly with its competitive pricing and convenient lunch deals. With some improvements in food quality and service, it has the potential to become a go-to spot for affordable Korean cuisine in Manchester."

"I watched some guy return a tofu Bibimbap (he was vegan and it has egg), then watched them take it behind the counter and immediately call my number (I was about 8th in the queue) with my tofu Bibimbap. Surprise surprise, it is stone cold. They literally just served me somebody else's returned food."

"Some of the best Korean BBQ I've had outside of London. I will be returning next time I'm in Manchester. Booked a table for two same day, but they did have to turn a few people away whilst we were there, so booking for larger groups in advance is likely a good idea."
