"My wife and daughter and I go out for lunch (almost) every Saturday and our tastes are all over the place. We often opt (at least once a month) for Sakura. Their food is always well prepared and visually appealing, service is good and the pricing reasonable. Not a large restaurant and when busy it can get noisy but worth the money for Japanese fair."

"This location is small, hidden within the apartment buildings. The different menu options all sounds amazing, I got the tofu subway sandwich, it was sweet, crunch, crispy tofu with lettuce, green onions and a nice warm toasted subway sandwich. It was yummy, but I had to add ketchup to the sandwich, I definitely preferred something more spicer. However, this sandwich with your own hot sauce is absolutely delicious. I recommend ordering sandwiches then taking it home to enjoy with your own condiments. Thank you!"

"It is really a cafeteria, plastic spoons, tea in paper cup, kind of place. It serves different kinds of dumplings, boiled or pan fried, congee and soup noodles.Service is typically chinese, student based and disconnected. Dumplings come in 12's or 16's, boiled or fried, or for take home (uncooked). Congee prepared in advance as is soup noodles. Tastes is acceptable, but dumplings somewhat small in size and rather insipid. Try the fried ones instead. No service to speak of, as tea is paper cupped, chopsticks and plastic spoon. What brings the rating down is the price/value. It is very expensive for what you get and being in a university (Wilfred Laurier) part of town, it should be cheaper, but there appears to be no competition for dumplings. $25 pp for a lunch of 2 plates of 12 dumplings is very expensive, when I could do it at home for $5. The take out is also in the $10 per set range.Don't bother unless craving for dumplings."

"Years ago when I was in school this place used to be quite average. But today I went in with a couple of Korean friends and I was so pleasantly surprised. There must have been a change in ownership coz the food is now amazing! And I had Korean folks to attest to it themselves! The portions were very generous and pricing more than reasonable compared to what most places charge these days. It's not some fancy restaurant but that's how you know you're getting good food ? definitely coming back for the Honey Garlic Fried Chicken and Jjajangmyeon!"

"Great selection! Put a lot of effort into making it tasty. Service is great and very quick. Can be pricey but definitely worth the try. Lack of seating may also be an issue."

"I have left a pretty terrible review here before so I thought I would come back and update you all on my experience again. I had heard that new management had taken over and it was a lot better now so I decided to try again on a Tuesday night. The menu was new and there was still a wide variety to choose from. I chose the ramen takoyaki special which was about 16 dollars together while my boyfriend got the sushi dinner B. I chose the budae ramen because it looked unique and had all my favorite Korean pieces in it (rice cake, fish tofu, kimchi etc) and while the flavor was great and portion size huge, it was a bit spicy to keep sipping after a while and I ultimately could not finish it. The takoyaki was great and the sushi quality was about average. There was still only one employee working but on a Tuesday night at 8:30pm we were the only two in the restaurant so service was not as terrible. I felt slightly bad at how deserted the place felt but hopefully news will spread of its revival. Mr Sushi's food won't blow you away but there is a large variety of food for anyone to come and grab a decent and relatively quick bite."
