"First time here and the person in charge of our experience told us this is the best steakhouse in Chicago. When the filet mignon came out my companion and I both agreed that it was the best steak either of us have had in our life. The buttery crust was perfectly charred and the center was a beautiful rich red with not a trace of tendon. The filet just melts in the mouth. I also love the seafood tower. Do yourself a solid and get the king crab legs and a few oysters. Bavette’s absolutely lived up to it’s reputation. 5 stars all around."

"Portions are very small for the price you pay. In addition, cooking area is so small, that the cook can only cook one item at a time. It takes too long for you to get your full meal. Drinks and meals are overpriced. We will not be going there again."
