"Been here a few times, service always prompt. The food here reminds me of what we had when we were in Japan, particularly the tempura rice bowl and unajyu. One of the best unajyu in Sydney, probably the best in terms of value for money. My favourite though has to be the cold ramen that is only available during summer time. I must say I have not tried this particular style of cold ramen (usually noodles served cold and dipped in warm soup to eat), whereas this had a minimal amount of cold soup/sauce underneath the ramen and was sesame oil based i think. It was very refreshing and yummy! Though different from typical cold ramen, overall satisfaction of the dish is definitely up there with the likes of Rokurinsha in Tokyo. To give this review some balance, I agree with others that the standard soup-based ramen here is not great and loses out to others like Manpuku."

"Went for the first time for dinner on a LivingSocial deal. The place is quite small, there are a few small tables and a bar counter with high chairs. Service was friendly, the mains came out a bit slowly, maybe because were a few take-away orders. The grilled scallop entree was 3 scallops in shells, looked promising but the scallops were tasteless, which was strange reminded me of the pre-soaked prawns that you get at chinese restaurants that are translucent and plumped up but tasteless. Fish mains and dessert were good but not outstanding. I did not think that the seafood was particularly fresh, though nothing was off either."

"Pasta Emilia is alittle hard to spot as it is on the corner of the street and there were no big signs so you may easily walk past it without even realising. The interior design is very traditional and it gives off an authentic Italian rustic vibe which I'm totally digging. <br>

I ordered the beetroot ravioli with kale and salsa verde which in my opinion was amazingly delicious. The amount of saltiness was just right and the salsa verde was not too oily and complimented the beetroot pasta beautifully. It felt like pasta heaven in my mouth. <br>

My friend ordered the strozzapreti with beef ragu which was also tasty however; it was definitely more on the oily side as we could see alot of oil at the bottom of the plate and the mince was on the sweeter side which I don't mind but others might not like that. Pasta was cooked al dente though! <br>

You can also buy their pasta and jars of homemade sauce but I didn't get a chance to buy any. I really should when I return since I need to get my hands on the amazing salsa verde sauce."

"Ordered stir-fried barramundi with Thai herbs, the Fish was inedible. I mentioned our negative feedback and there was no response. I mentioned it again whilst paying and they said the fish is deep fried, followed by stir fried.. even though menu says stir fried'. Terrible...customer service and food. Will never return"

"I organised a dinner here a few months ago when they'd just opened for approx $35 people and I can't express how perfect everything was. They'd seated us so we had a section to ourselves with direct access to the bar - it was like it was it was our own private place. With such a big group it was inevitable that we'd have to wait for food here and there, but they made sure to keep it coming until no one asked for any more. And considering it was only $30 each, it was the ideal venue for our occasion, with everyone telling me after how much they loved the place."

"Pho was nice as was the service, however it was the size of a small pho in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants and it was $15 which I found a little steep for what you receive. Good option in the area, just value for money isn't reasonable."
