For example, I compare the Singapore Noodles between here and elsewhere. At Foo Win, it tastes just as it should: that it just came out hot and smoky from a wok that's been seasoned through cooking a thousand dishes, and again that freshness.The black bean combination is another winner. The sauce is just the right intensity, without the stale excess saltiness you find in too many places. And here's another example of a great way to test an Asian restaurant: try a prawn. These are King Prawns. It's all in the texture (resilient to the bite, not just chewy and "old"), with a clean taste - freshness again.I could go on, but you get the message. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I see. Yes, occasionally the service is slow when they're busy, but hey, live a little (longer).
