"Visited on Saturday night as we were up from Manchester for the weekend staying with our friend Rose. What a great choice!! We were greeted warmly despite being a little late, and shown straight to our table. Drinks were ordered promptly and we were very impressed with the quality and price of the house red. We had 2 asparagus starters between the 3 of us they are massive and amazing! . Then we had the spaghetti gamberoni, bolognese and montradini- all were excellent and massive portions so we brought home what we couldn’t eat as they were too nice to leave! Have to mention the two young ladies waiting on, who couldn’t do enough for us including fetching a cushion for my husband who has hip problems and found the chair too low. They are a credit to the restaurant- we will definitely be back next time we’re in town!!"

"We stay in the area twice a year and use Pie and Pudding a number of times each stay, However tonight’s food was very low standard for Pie and Pudding, Firstly the order that I brought back home was incorrect and missing bits that I ordered The food that was right was disappointing, One meal was a chicken dish which I could count the bits of chicken and then this was in a bed of what can only be described as rusty water , the other dish was a beef dish same again hardly any beef and a box of water So disappointing and I’ve always loved the food from Pie and Pudding,"

"Fantastic food and the best nan breads in rhyl.. (chilly cheese will blow your head off) ..all with loads of cheese on them (unlike many other places that allways skimp on the cheese.. the decorating is a bit on the tired side , but food is fantastic especially ashas tandory mixed grill which amazing"

"£10 each for afternoon tea take away BOOM and FABULOUS, four sandwiches, delicious sausage roll, scone cream jam, lemon cake, cream sponge, chocolate brownie (now that was yummy) and a couple of fresh strawberries. Really, go for it. Great value for what you get. Was lovely to catch up with some of the girls in my ‘She Shed’ social distancing of course and time to forget about the ‘Covid’ Vintage Sugar Tea Rooms are open Thursday to Saturday and all looked clean with Covid protocol in place. Thank you for making our day "

"Very disappointing! My husband ordered the Cod dish off the Valentines menu, the piece of cod loin was about 2” a very small portion. The chicken supreme with white sauce was terrible I couldn’t eat it. The sauce was paprika and the chicken coated in a Cajun seasoning! Definitely not a chicken supreme! They did not charge for this! Would not recommend this place!"
