"Absolutely amazing food and such friendly staff! My parents stumbled upon NUR while in Hastings for the weekend and liked it so much that they returned with my extended family the next day. A wide ranging menu that catered to a variety of needs, massive portions too. I had the beef stroganoff and would highly recommend it. Steaks and pasta also looked great. Really recommend a visit if you are in the area."

"We enjoyed a fabulous meal on Friday evening. The food was absolutely superb. I had the delicious smoked haddock with spinach and samphire, my husband loved his Cornish monkfish and my cousins were very complimentary about the fish cakes and bartered cod. The staff were great, friendly the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We shall come again, thanks for a great evening, I hope we weren’t too loud!"

"I sat here for my birthday meal and 5 friends. We were very welcome and had a fantastic service. We all loved our food (and plenty of wine and gin!! When the waiter found out that it was my birthday, he gave me a bottle of rose wine to go home. We were the last people in the restaurant, but didn't feel rushed to go. We were at 10.50 anyway. Really nice evening. I'm here several times, but not with a group of friends. We were checked to make sure we were all right and nothing was too much for the waiter.. He even agreed to a selfie with my friend!!!! Very pleasant night. Very recommend the falafel starter."

"We have used Golden Wok for 25 years and always been pleased believing them to be the best in the area. Last nights delivery was terrible. Excessive greasy smell immediately ..prawn toasts were greasy on the outside ..not crispy ..and very dry inside with no prawn topping evident at all. Spring rolls were stodgy ..greasy not crispy and dripping with oil. Main pork dish was floating with oil on top. Surprised and very disappointed! Certainly gone down hill. On top of this I tried to discuss it with them today, they were not interested in listening and I was cut off. Do not use! Very rude and attitude of 'so what ' if you dare to complain. She actually said 'anything else ' and I found it offensive after giving them business for so long. Terrible food and terrible service. £30 wasted. Felt sick tbh and all ended up in the bin."
