"The re modelled place looks fresh, new, but still has a familiar feel to the place. We haven't been here for a couple of years only because we make decent pasta at home. The menu has expanded and features brick oven menu. The meals we ordered were very good, the wine was not priced over the moon...two of us with a beer and wine, dinners were happy with a $52 bill. The owner is involved and sincere in making this place just right...yes we will go again!"

"Their pastas were all very good. The staff were really kind too. Comes with free garlic bread. The pink pasta and the squid ink pasty were very tasty.Prices are very fair too! Would love to come back to try more of their pastas since they have so many to choose from.Easy place to enjoy some good pasta!"

"I love Jimocos. People think I am sponsored by them or something (I am not but hey I would love to be @Jimocos . I am constantly craving Jimocos, and this is the to go spot whether it is a simple date night with my boyfriend, or I have someone visiting in town and want to impress them with delicious food. This restaurant serves pasta and pizza which are a part of the Italian cuisine but it is made by Koreans. The fusion this place has really what makes it best. Also, it on the cheaper side of restaurants and you really get what you pay for. My favourite is the linguine de soul. My brother's is the seafood risotto with cream sauce and my boyfriend's is the chicken parm with risotto. Honestly the best restaurant in Coquitlam. You have to check it out (or not to keep the waits shorter! Avoid weekends at dinner times because the wait is around 1 hour to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Also service is great!"

"I was very impressed. I could not believe how fast my food came and it wasn't just me. Being there solo I had a good chance to eaves drop : so I heard when people ordered and they all got theirs very quickly. Not a complaint but as I was there by myself I might have wanted it to have taken a little longer as I was enjoying taking in the energy of he restaurant, once I ate I felt obligated to leave. But I would recommend this location to anyone."

"A really good local pub on a side street, out of the way of the main strip and strangely named "The Frog and Nightgown Public House and Liquor Store". What a mouthful! But what you put in your mouth once you get there is delicious. They have typical pub food, like fish 'n chips, wings and nachos. They also offer tempting specilaities like Thai Chili Chicken, Yam fries & Chipotle dip, Crab & Prawn Penne. The menu is so large, and so varied, you would have to eat here every day for about a month and a half to get through it. Everything we have tried over numerous visits has been delicious. The fish 'n chips, the Creole Rice Bowl, the potato skins, the Italian Melt sandwich... my mouth is watering just writng this., We drank of course, and it was good. They have the usual assortment of beverages plus some funnily named specilaty drinks. They also name hteir specials very creatively. I get a kick out of "We Hate Mondays" and Tuesday is "Drink Your Dad's Beer" day with domestic draught Beer only $4.25 (Canadian, Coors, Budweiser, Moosehead) They have $2 Tacos All Day long as well and plenty of other incentives to get in there and partake,The atmosphere is real pub style, with booths and worn wooden tables and dim lighting (but not dingy) The staff is friendly and accomodating."

"We wanted to try something new so we decided to eat at Nando's. They give you a menu, when you know what you want you go to the counter, order it, pay for it and then it's brought to your table. You are charged pretty...much ala carte. The piece or pieces of chicken you want, if you want it as a dinner it comes with one side of your choice. The sides by themselves are very pricey. I chose the lemon herb chicken breast, it came with a wing which I gave to my husband. My side was a Caesar salad which was so so. My husband had the leg, thigh with his side of grilled vegetables. I enjoyed the chicken, did not put any of the peri peri sauces on it. They have a lot of choices of peri peri, hot, medium hot, extra hot, olive oil, creamy garlic, etc...We also ordered an order of hummus with pita bread. The hummus was delicious as well as the warm pita. I thought it was very expensive for what we got. Probably will not eat there again."

"FOMO in COMO, I've been wanting to come to this little Italian restaurant on Como Lake in Coquitlam for a while. They allowed my dog on the patio which was a big benefit and will definitely be coming back as a result. We order the calamari ? the pastas? and pizza ?. Lot of locals have been talking about this place so I literally had a fear that I was missing out on a good restaurant, and the expectations held up. The pesto pasta and the seafood spaghetti both had lots of ingredients that was fresh and colorful. We had leftovers and ate pasta the next day which was great as well. The pizzas were made in the nice wood fire oven and we're crispy on the outside. First time that I've received scissors with my pizza to cut it up the way I want. It was interesting because ended up rolling up my pizza like a cazone and folding it in my ? mouth. Whatever, had fun with it...can't wait to go again."
