"Arrived at the restaurant and they had our booking but not for afternoon tea. They still accommodated us, 3 altogether, and served a bottle of Prosecco while we we’re waiting. The food was lacking any pastries they just shoved some biscuits on with a scone with currants, which 2 out of the 3 of us don’t like. A few cuts of meat and bruschetta. We asked for a 2nd bottle of Prosecco which they brought to our table . About 25 minutes to the end of the 90 minutes we were allocated we asked for more Prosecco as it’s advertised as unlimited. The waiter must have asked 3 staff if we were allowed, eventually the manager came over and sad we can have 1 more glass each. By the time we received it we had 10 minutes left. Don’t advertise unlimited Prosecco when it’s obviously not something your willing to do. Been to bottomless brunches before for £35 per person for a tea with “unlimited Prosecco “will definitely not be a returning customer, as this is advertised incorrectly"

"We had a good experience, the service was very efficient even though there was lots of people the atmosphere was great for a Saturday lunch time. The food was good calamari very good very tasty burger and a great tuna panini . One problem was that neither of the two toilet doors would lock in the ladies toilets staff were very friendly"

"We heard about this place by friends who live near. we have booked a table at 5 o'clock on weekday and were greeted in the inner. we sat down and were served immediately, we got the lasagne, bolognese, 2 tagliatelle carbonara and a garlic bread for the table. that was delicious. garlic bread was light and crispy and the carbonara was deep and creamy. I had the lasagne and must say it tasted very spinaty / herby, which could expose some people, but I found it added to the taste and tasted great. the server seemed inexperienced, but friendly and if the order of our friend was delivered incorrectly, they immediately and politely admitted the mistake and prepared an executive court. Something we really like is that they can order any court at present, whether starter or at all, as a half. love that, it is really for both small appetit and would help families with children. I would definitely recommend to them a go feels like good eating the price worth; give it 5 stars."

"I've tried all the pizza takeaways in Darlington, and can honestly state that these are the best pizzas I've had from a local independent take away. The bases are fluffy, light and crisp. Cheese is delicious. Fantastic toppings too. I love the Grill Daddy and the Meat and Meat pizza with garlic butter. Tomato and BBQ bases are both tasty. Garlic bread with cheese is really nice too. Kebabs and wra[ps are pretty tasty too. Well done guys! My only request would be for you to change the oil in the fryers more often. It always smells rancid whenever I visit and is obviously not changed regularly enough."

"This is the second time we have ordered from here, giving them the benefit of the doubt from the first poor showing. We ordered fish and chips 4 times. The batter undercooked, fish had no taste and the chips were not chips see photo They looked like the bits that fall on the floor that other chippies dont use. I like my chips to have potato in them. Check the phot out. We had four plates with these rock hard shavings"
