"This place has only been open for about 2 months, and so far they are well. I visited after a recent story in the AZ Daily Sun covered how great it was. I wasn't disappointed. When I arrived, I was greeted by a guy behind the cashier who is afraid to help me. He asked if it was my first time, either I saw lost or they asked everyone. He helped me check their menu and could answer my questions quickly. After his proposal I tried the Shack Combo; it comes with 3 chicken strips, seasoned frits, a piece of garlic toast and their special sauce. I also have an order from Hot Chicken Wing, as the Gentleman said that the scorching sauce is quite hot. I put my order and waited about 10 minutes for my food, that's good with me because it was fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp: I got my order to go and when I came home, I was surprised by the big portions! The chicken and the frits were very fresh and still hot. The seasoned frits were very good and so was the dough on the chicken. The dough didn't seem very fat and the chicken was juicy. The sauce with which it came was also tasteful. I was very impressed and think it is a good alternative to the chain drive thru chicken places. The only disappointment was the wings. They were your typical size and the sauce was quite standard, it was not very sharp, maybe I would have got the scorching sauce. It was also very runny and had not much sauce on them. We discussed the authenticity of garlic bread and thought it was probably fresh with all local bakeries, then on the way to the car we saw a Texas Toast Box! LOL Just a slight disappointment, but otherwise it was great. So great that I have already returned from my first visit in less than a week!"
