"I have been here a handful of times and it is excellent every time. You feel like you are eating on a New York street while eating the most delicious pizza in town. I am partial to the Maritimer which has pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers. The crust is so good and the cheese is absolutely perfect in terms of quantity and taste. Plus it is really pretty!"

"The Nachos were absolutely AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Nachos. The chicken wings were amazing, my husband raved about the flavour of the HOT WINGS, they did run out of Honey Garlic though so I was not able to try the wings myself. We ordered dessert along with a cocktail and beer. I had the Ocean Pearl, it was very delicious.My husband and I will definitely be back to have the Nachos again!Restaurant was nice inside with a good atmosphere, the option of Bar side or Restaurant. Service was also really great, friendly and Quick."

"On the way out of town, my fiancée and I decided to have a last meal to have a band on our Halifax Road Trip. 2 doors down was always a place we wanted to try, but never before. When we hit the food brush, we strolled to an empty restaurant without reservation at 4 a.m. The bartender (at the tail end of her shift) came and greeted us at the door. Our vaccine status has been reviewed and we are happy with joy. I have seen the menu that I was originally withdrawn from the size of the menu, seemingly small and the beverage menu, seemingly large. Since the place is called 'Bar and Bites', I understand now. The atmosphere was great, the rusticity of the kitchen, the ambient music, the room was very well lit, again we were before dinner service, so the lights were finally dimmed to improve the intimate mood. Our server informed us about the night functions and offered us drinks and apps to start considering the 4 hours drive before us chosen to stay with water, but ordered the Kale Caesar and Fish Taco while we were our main thing. I can't comment on the fish taco, but my fiancé made quick work of him and I believe at one point she noded and with a full mouth said "yeamphgood ". . The dressing was a battle between lemon and garlic with a hint of smokiness from what I can only accept is anchovies. This is what Caesar Dressing is to taste as, you are not meant to breathe in the faces of the loved ones after a good Caesar salad. Cräulein Usually fall under the umbrella of the intentional regarding my feelings on menu ingredients, but these little buggers were made right. After every bite, I'd lean back and sigh what I just experienced. Despite my egoism, I shared with my fiancée and informed her that she could not miss this experience. I did everything, but lick the bowl. For the net she ordered the Risotto and I took the 'feature', Pork Belly w/ Seared Scallops, Sweet Potato Mash, Cranberry Gastrique and Roasted Veggies. Again I cannot comment on the Risotto, I had a little bite and enjoyed it, but the dish was accompanied by Deep Fried Eggplant (I believe) which, when the dish hit the table, resembled a kind of mutant garlic bread. My first reaction was, 'that looks like a mess' . . . . . . . Oh, but then I tasted it. The eggplant, so simple, so tasty, I even did later to go for a bite of risotto, but with a last-minute Swiss stoke a lonely of eggplants. I feel the goal of this plate is to offer the wealth of Risotto, but cut with vegetables to avoid the need for a push cart that often follows a rich, heavy dish. The best of both worlds, in my opinion. As for the Pork Belly feature, it was absolutely delicious and more impressive the seasonality. A perfect case dish on a rainy evening. Pig meat, sweet potatoes, cranberry, can't be missed. The scallops were a afterthought, an estimated afterthought, but they did not add to the court. To be clear, I do not complain about adding 2 medium-sized scallops, I say that I would have paid "the same without them. The pig stall was big and the cut was exceptional. Often 'pork belly' can be simply a fat nightmare, this cut was slim (for pork) and fleshy, every bite was a joy. Sweet potato mash was tasteful and the roasted vegetables were excellently prepared. Despite filling, we still ordered dessert to go (and a fork, if curiosity gets the best of us on the drive) but I can't comment on the chocolate Peanut butter cake as it still sits in our refrigerator. Overall, our experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and dedicated, the food was exceptional and we will definitely be back to explore the beverage side of the menu."

"I am not from Nova Scotia, I was craving a pizza. I found this place through a 3rd party delivery app, I must say this definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The sauce has this sweet taste that I have not ever tasted back home. I have heard it is a Halifax thing. I had the Canadian Classic pizza. I am not sure how long l will be working out here but I definitely will try and order again before I go back home."

"Visited this place late in the evening yesterday as most of the places were closed by then. The place looks very average with nothing fancy about seating area. BUT then the pizzas are very delicious. We ordered the Tomaso's/Works, Pesto Sopresa and garlic bread. The crust was perfect, toppings were generous, sauce was yummy. Probably one of the best in HRM. Price is reasonable for the quality of the pizza served."
