"Every venue/ whatever starts with 5 ! We had regularly visited the Chase between 2016 and 2021 when we moved away. Definitely a for us. Lovely couple running it, fabulous scenery from the patio, well kept bear and lovely food. Today, we detoured specifically to visit for old times' sake; it appears the Chase is under new management. . Welcoming friendly staff. . Still a good beer. But: the food has really gone downhill. Two issues today, first off one meal we ordered from the menu turned from bear battered scampi to backed scampi with cajun sauce on salad. We did query and the waitress admitted there was a typo on the menu and kindly offered to get some battered scampi. Not good really as the rest of us had got our meals already. secondly, and this is the really dodgy bit, the food was really bad, I'm not a picky person and have never returned a meal, they really need to employ someone who can cook. I had fish and chips, most of which were inedible due to gross overcooking of both the fish and the chips. No excuse for this, they weren't even particularly busy (maybe word has got around). Really, really disappointing meal for us all."

"Cosy place and brilliant when staying at Post Mill. I was staying on my own and went twice and had a take away. 2 divine chicken and bacon salads with coleslaw and chips. Quick and pleasant service. Highly recommend Thank you Sue x"

"We have eaten here a couple of times cannot recommend it highly enough. The food is absolutely fantastic there is plenty of it. The front of house service is amazing he is on his own does a brilliant job. It is very reasonably priced considering the standard of the food produced like I say I would definitely recommend giving it a go."

"We visited here after a walk on Bromyard Downs. The decor was dated, the whole place looked like it needed a facelift. The food was average and overpriced. Sadly, there are better places to go."

"Ordered before they closed, rang up asking if they could get it delivered, said it would be fine! an hour later we call again, first time they didn’t answer, second time they answered and checked if it was still coming, they said it shouldn’t be...too long! two hours after ordering, nothing, called them, no answer! waste of time, we’ve now gone without food for the night, cancelled the order."

"Our first visit to leatherbury, only one night. we ate our evening meal in the olive tree. we received a warm welcome and the service was excellent. the food was delicious and cheap. highly recommended. my only little niggle is that I could not add a tipp to the card payment. almost all restaurants now (also encourage) allow a tipp to pay cards."

"I made contact with the Wheelwright Arms prior to a stay nearby. We were a family of 15 plus a dog. They were happy to accommodate us for an early evening meal. We did prebook the meal. Everything came out as ordered, including the children's...meals. The food was delicious pub grub, the staff friendly and helpful, and it was reasonable. Would happily return if we visit the area again."
