"We usually love Brennan’s, but eating was only sub par on Sunday. we sent the eloise or the Elella oysters back, which they tasted like the horn skin on a oyster. the staff was wonderful as usual, but the $200 tab for brunch was not worth it this time."

"Listen, if we could give 100 stars we would! We are new to Houston and only have 2 more months to be here. I am VERY picky when it comes to Italian food (because it?s my favorite and I can honestly say, I NOW have something to cry about when we leave. The food here is nothing short of excellence. Every aspect of our experience was stellar. I have never in my life had basil pesto that tasted so fresh. Their bread was the best Italian bread we?ve ever had. My husband kept asking me ?ok what about the pasta, is it better than (so and so?s place? or what about the gelato, or the appetizers? I told him that this was the 1st and only place I?ve ever been to where ALL parts of the meal were well past my expectations. Very well passed. We found out their gelato is made from a native Italian (you can tell because the fruits and flavors are all fresh and burst of flavor in your mouth and we also found out they grow a lot of their food right next to their restaurant! The staff was outstanding and went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be. We got to meet the owner which was an honor in of itself, but then learned he was the chef who cooked our meal! Even the smell?EVEN THE SMELL of the restaurant smelled like a true authentic Italian restaurant. We discovered they take extra measures to make sure it smells that way. This family owned restaurant is one for the books and stole our hearts. We left smiling and raving about our experience the whole 25 minute drive. You can?t go wrong eating here! We are so blessed to have found this gem and look forward to going back before we move!"

"This restaurant is a MUST! They offer the finest of seafood and pasta. I have been going to this establishment for over 7 years now and it never disappoints. The best fried shrimp you can eat ANYwhere, the crab stuffed mushrooms with a 'to-die-for ' creamy butter sauce melts in your mouth. The freshest salads you 've ever ordered at any other restaurant (I promise) and the finest waitstaff and chefs in this great city. I 've been waited on by probably every person at BCSP and today didn 't disappoint either. My waitress was Paige. She was so down-home, friendly, very attentive and never missed a beat with getting my order right. side note: I order very specific because I feel if I 'm paying, I want it to be how I like it. This restaurant will not disappoint the most pickiest of eaters. Do yourself a favor and try them. I guarantee you will always choose Bayou City for your favorite restaurant."

"This is not pizza margherita...was tasteless and our waiter, who was a little on the pompous/crass side, informed me that in Texas, it's not served with tomato sauce...I googled other restaurants, and yes it is. Giving it at least one star, because thefood runner was pleasant. Other diner at table had chicken pesto pizza, that was supposed to have goat cheese...it didn't andwas very bland. Other diner had spaghetti and meatballs, and this was decent. Service was only attentive at check time."

"Starting off, I had already heard fantastic things about this place from a friend of mine who has come here before. Walking into the place, I instantly felt like the food was going to be good because of the assault of seasoning and spices that hit my nose. The gentleman behind the counter (who I suspect was the owner) was very friendly and knows his customer service. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza and some hot lemon pepper wings. The pizza was unlike any other pizza I've ever had, a true blend of cultures and flavor that is incomparable to anything else. And the wings? I don't know how to begin. They tasted better than most wing placed I've ever been to. I'm usually more of a fan of making my wings at home since they are usually overpriced and haphazardly tossed in a sauce when ordered, but you can tell these wings were marinated for hours at minimum, and they are one heck of a value. All in all, I'd say this is one of the best experiences I've ever had with a pizza place, and I most certainly will be coming back for more."
