"We won a gift certificate from playing trivia so decided to check this lovely restaurant out. Our food was simply divine. I had three Papa Dan special and my husband had pasta puttanesca. We both loved our food. The staff was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back"

"Stopped by the other night for an appetizer and a pizza with a mixed experience. We ordered the goat cheese/artichoke appetizer balls which were not at all delicious and very expensive. To make matters worse, they brought us plates both of which were wet and covered in chunks of old food! Yuck. Rough way to start our first dining experience at this restaurant. Ordered a vegetable pizza, and that was delicious. The veggies were fresh, a medium slice, and they cooked perfectly on the pizza. Very nice. The service was spot on, and the atmosphere was relaxing and very Italian! We will definitely go back for more pizza."

"The backstreet bistro offers indoor and outdoor seating. we had a tasty lunch that was quite expensive to the contrary. my club sandwich was big, I took the half of it to the house for dinner. the service was excellent. helpful note: great place to eat after shopping in el paseo or after a visit in living desert zoo and gardens too. many parking spaces."
