"This restaurant has amazing vegan options. The marinara sauce was sooo good and the staff was amazingly nice. So glad I have this restaurant a try and will 100% be back. As of Jan 2022 the manager/owner said they added a new vegan menu. Manager/owner was vegan himself so I really trusted that there wasn’t anything accidentally overlooked. "I wish I could rate this restaurant (Broadway location) higher because when their pizza is made right it's great. But sadly, quality is very inconsistent, cheese pizza is usually very dry and delivery orders get messed up more often than not. For me, the biggest downfall is the dry pizza because their sauce is SO good. It's to the point that when i do order I have to order the pizza with extra sauce plus sauce on the side. Furthermore the sauce on the side ends up being marinara sauce (despite asking for pizza sauce) and not their pizza sauce, which is good, but not what I want. My delivery order did get messed up again, but when I called they were very accommodating in rectifying the issue so that was appreciated. I just wish it didnt come to that. To me, their McCullough location is better and more consistent (although on the salty side) . My wife ordered from Broadway by accident so we had to deal with the issues mentioned above hopefully for the last time."

"We really love coming to Volare! It is our go to place for Birthdays in San Antonio. Go on Wednesday night they have live music that is excellent! Also we have had Lotus as our waitress on numerous occasions and she is simply excellent. So let me cue you in on what to get..... First order a bottle of Bocelli wine, an excellent chianti from Tuscany and yes it is Andre Bocelli's label! Then order yourself a Margherita pizza, superb with fresh basil and mozzarella as your appetizer. Then order yourself a Veal (Vitello) Parmigiana, portion is HUGE! My wife loves the Eggplant (Melanzane) Parmigiana. Both dishes come with a side of pasta. Then finish it all off with a Cappuccino and a Tiramisu."

"Excellent food. Her salad dressing is homemade Italian. Not too tart like most restaurants. I can eat 2 salads. So good!! Lasagna is authentic. Food really close to true Italian eatery. If you’re looking for healthy eating this not the place if you want to try her many culinary delights. Eric the server has Bren there forever and so pleasant and courteous. Eat there usually twice a month. Rice’s are inexpensive."
