"During our travels of Europe we have been craving good cheap, westernised Chinese food. We were ecstatic when we saw this place right next to our Air BnB apartment. It was everthing we expected. The food is cheap (three main dishes, a rice and drinks approx 50 Lei) and very flavoursome. The staff are very friendly, the waitress does not speak much English, however the chef is fluent, so he is available if needed. There is also free wifi, so google translate comes in handy for the menu.During our 7 night stay in Cluj we ate at this restaurant many times, storing up nuts for the lean times. We tried many dishes as well as our favourites.Curry king prawn 25LeiKung-po chicken 15LeiStir-fry broccoli in garlic sauce 12leiChicken curry 15leiBeef and noodles 15LeiStir-fry sweet n sour pork 15LeiFried Pork dumplings 14Lei They are only open to 8 pm (mind you a lot of restaurants seem to close around then - the pavements roll up quite early). And shut on Sundays. So on Saturday night (our third visit) we had them put together our order for take away as well - so we can 'heat & eat' on Sunday too!"

"A very beautiful place to be with a wide selection of dishes and drinks. We visited this place on Valentines, a few hours before our flight home. Service is excellent and definitely served by Cristi is amazing! Food is delicious and the prices are decent and the atmosphere is very beautiful! I recommend Sandany."

"Last day in Romania after a month travelling so we thought we’d treat ourselves to a nice meal out. When we arrived the waiter advised we would be waiting 40 minutes. Not an issue for us as we were in no hurry. Unfortunately, the food was average, and over priced and the wine was 50% more expensive than we had paid anywhere during our month in Romania. We left a small tip as we felt 400 lei for a 40 minute wait, 2 average mains, 2 poor deserts, 4 glasses of wine and 4 beers was a bit much. The waiter suddenly became very rude, shaking his head and asked for a bigger tip. When I said no, he said the tip wad “not worth it” and deducted it from the total. Unfortunately an unpleasant end to the evening."
