"Visited with family on saturday night, when we arrive the restaurant was empty. We had booked but there was confusion over the sirname which isnt a difficult one to pronounce. We were just told the table number and not shown to table. I guess by this time it was 'ordered at the bar 'type of restaurant, which is fine,there were a good number of staff and they all seemed friendly if not slightly under trained. The menu was very varied and seasonal and i could have chosen a number of mains but went with the rainbow trout which i was informed was caught that day. The food arrived and was very well presented, hot and very tasty. One of my fellow diners said only complaint was there were to many chips, which isnt really a complaint. The place filled up quickly so it was unusual to see the staff now taking table orders from certain tables. Keep up the standards and seasonal menu, keep you staff smiling, give them a little more training and decide whether you are taking orders at the bar or at the tables and i think you have a good basis for a long running success."
