"We were fortunate to dine at this restaurant at the recommendation of a a Paris friend who went with us. The food was excellent and a blend of creativity and savory delights. We had the fois gras prepared the way it's supposed to be ...not the pate but the multicolored display of the true foie gras. Also we feasted on mouth watering veal liver cooked perfectly as well as other delights. It was a gourmand experience for us and definitely worth trying. It's not far from Rue Monge and easy to get to. The meal was not terribly expensive. We spent 160E for three courses for three people and that included a bottle of wine."

"A fantastic experience in Paris. We ate again at the restaurant after 5 years and the food was of the same quality as at the time! One of our favorite restaurants in Paris. The staff is very warm, we feel very welcome. The crowd is mixed, local and tourist. Prices are a little higher, but it's worth it. We'd be happy to come back."

"As I have had my e mails totally ignored I felt I would share them directly here. Frankly I do not have the time or interest to post negative reviews on trip advisor but to be directly lied to by waiting staff and having my...e mails giving objective feedback ignored I felt the necessity to share. I ate last night at your restaurant with my friend and I was extremely disappointed in the service and the food. I have thought I would take the time to write to you my thoughts as I have dined with at your restaurant on many occasions and have always previously found it acceptable. The sashimi and other starters were all to a good standard, beef with ginger, yellow tail and gyoza and the wagyu steak. The tempura we ordered shrimp and King crab the batter was overly soft and soggy where it should have been light and crisp. The sushi was made with rice straight out of the refrigerator which totally spoils the taste of the roll as I would expect any Japanese restaurant to know! The worst problem both with the service and the food was the Macha Creme brûlée which was served not set almost in liquid form. Upon telling the waitress she informed it was ‘special’ and meant to be served as liquid which I would find bizarre for a creme brûlée to start however as we began to eat the desert we discovered it was half set I am sure this ‘special’ desert was not to supposed to be half formed. So I can only assume the waitress was unprepared to deal with the situation truthfully. This item was removed from the bill after we sent it back. Another note the service was also particularly inattentive constantly having to try and catch the attention of a waiter detracts from the dining experience. I await your feedback. (Note no reply even upon a second e mail)"

"Alors que j'avais réservé une table en terrasse via "la fourchette", le patron, nous a fait annuler notre réservation avant de nous installer.Je ne comprends pas comment un restaurateur peut être aussi mal accueillant alors que nous étions 6. Il est prêt à s'assoir sur une addition de 6 personne pour une petite commission qu'il aurait payé au site "la fourchette", et ça malgré la pub que celui ci lui fait.Pour ma part, malgré de bon plat, je ne retiendrai que l'amertume suite à l'accueil et la pingrerie du patron.C'est, j'en suis sûr, la première et dernière fois que j y mettrai les pieds."
