"With our order the wrong naanbrot was sent. the curries had very little bhuna in them, corma with 5 small pieces and the bhuna had what looked like a small amount of left stripes from a brath huh. in the round paid for medium, when the sose, the corma tasted like it was made with a glass razor wood sauce from the super market. chicken pakoras were good. pretty disappointed."

"Having read reviews on TA was looking forward to a great takeaway but sadly have to report this was a massive disappointment. Ordered on the phone and picked up as arranged service just fine. Food well presented and as ordered however, have to say it was tasteless and totally devoid of flavour or any 'heat ' in what was supposed to be two chilli and hot dishes. Chicken Anchar and Monkfish and Prawns were our dishes utterly tasteless. Meat very tender not a 'bad ' meal but just no taste or flavour whatsoever could do a lot better ! Its not that meal was bad it was just a non event Never happy putting bad reviews on TA so perhaps we just caught the place on a bad night. PLEASE get the online menu sorted when you click on menus, it changes every 15 seconds so you cannot read it long enough to make a decision what you want very iritating if you are calling it in and trying to read at the same time"

"Of us had booked a table for an evening birthday celebration. It took nearly hours for our food to arrive. When it did, one of the orders was completely wrong the vegetarian in our group was given a chicken curry, not what...she'd ordered and the sauce was omitted from the biryani order. The waiter was very grumpy and snappy when we complained, arguing that it was our mistake, not theirs. Another minutes passed before that was rectified. When the food finally arrived, the sauces were delicious but my lamb was very tough and completely tasteless. We asked for a bottle of water for the table but were only given glasses with it so of us had to use our empty drinks glasses for the water. We were belatedly offered a free drink from the bar in compensation for the unacceptable delay in the food arriving but most of us were driving so were only drinking water by then so it was a very cheap round. To cap it off, the credit card machine had broken so they would only take cash in payment. Fortunately, there is a cash machine a short walk away so we were able to get cash out to pay the bill. We won't be back there any time soon."

"We've had a few excellent outings in the Boar's Head Indian restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fast and efficient and the place is homely. The proprietors are very friendly and courteous. I had my usual Korma dish, but my husband and our friend tried something different from the one they usually have. They commented that the dishes were the best Indian dish they have ever had. I was very impressed by the small treats we have received from the staff such as: oranges and grapes on the house and also chocolate mints with the bill. They were exceptionally busy but they still found the opportunity to take pictures of us and have a little chat. Excellent place, comes with high recommendation from us."
