"What could you ideally want on a freezing winter night, in a stately, quiet, medieval city like Bern? The unequivocal answer is: a touch of mediterranean warmth! And that’s exactly what we found at this quaint tapas restaurant, in the heart of the old part...of the old city of old Bern in front of the italianate city hall. The service was excellent provided by a handsome multiculti Persian-American-Swiss waiter. The tapas, just finger-licking good. Thankfully well crafted and not heavily olive-oil-garlic laden (a trick used by pseudo tapas restaurants attempting to reach out to the selective club of more authentic tapas restaurants). The pulpo was perfect. I could’ve eaten just that! By the way, if you don’t have a table, just stand at the bar. It is just as good."

"Wir wählten das Menü mit Suppe und Entercote, Gemüse und Rösti-Kroketten welches ich als sehr fein empfand. Vom Essen her alles Bestens. Obwohl wir nicht gefragt wurden wie gut wir das Fleisch gebraten wollten hat hat es für mich gepasst. Auch das Schloss mit der wunderschönen Umgebung ist eine Reise wert. Das Restaurant hat sehr viel Holz und Glas und die Tische sind edel gedeckt. Das alles hätte 5 Punkte verdient. Leider ist die Bedienung und vor allem der mürrische (subjektives Empfinden) Chef nicht auf dem gleichen Niveau wie das oben Beschriebene. Ich hatte nicht das Empfinden wirklich willkommen zu sein. "Alle Menues die ich hier ass waren frisch zubereitet, sehr gut und echt nach spanischer (galizischer) Art zubereitet. Mit dem Chef kann man sich in Spanisch und Deutsch unterhalten. Ich konnte ausgezeichnete Weine (weisse und rote) probieren. Auch die Grappas die er mir anbot, fand ich ausgezeichnet! Ich empfehle dieses Lokal gerne weiter, sowohl für den "tapeo", wie auch für üppige spanische Gerichte."
